"Table for two"? The man said as he grabs the menus. He showed us our table and quietly walks away with a smile on his face like he knows one of us.
"What are you going to have"? I ask but I stop and try to make it sound like I Already made up my mind.
"I don't know quite yet, but do you have enything you want to suggest"? She Ripley's half way staring at me.
"No not really". I point out quickly. I try to hide my face in the menu.
In less than a minute thay cum ask us what we want to drink.
"I'll take a brisk please". I say with a strong firm voice. "I'll take a Coke". She says in a cute voice.
"Your so cute". I say to her inching my hand closer to hers.
"Jordan"! She says blushing. "Not in public". She says as she pushes me over to my left.
Our drinks finally got to our table. "Here's your drinks".
"Thank you sir". I say as the cold crisp brisk ran down my throat.
"You must love that brisk ". Marya said as she pushes her coke to the side.
"So how have you been"? Marya asks me while I swallow my brisk.
I gulp the cold child brisk down and reply with "good I guess".
She looks at me with the most blank stare that almost makes me feel like she is mad at me or disappointed even.
"You guess"?! She pops a brow and looks at me.
"Oh I mean that it's good wen I'm with you". I say to her try to keep her in a good mood. " Oh ok ". She says blushing and smiling.
I sigh in relief. "So how is your family doing"? I ask trying to keep the conversation going.
"Good". she answered quickly. Almost cutting me off. "Is everything ok"? I ask with great concern. "Yes I'm fine". She seems like she's telling me to drop it. But it's kinda hard. Evan for me.
