After crying for what seemed like hours, Pan had come back and took Wendy back to her cage.
Not a word was spoken from either of them. Although there were many things Wendy wanted to say to Peter, she couldn't collect herself to verbalized what she felt.
Come nightfall the girl sat alone in the narrow cage.
Wendy kept thinking about Peter, she couldn't help herself. He made her extremely angry, sad, then he made her feel like he wanted her. Wendy wanted to believe that he wanted her because he had fallen for her, but he only wanted her for his own selfish reasons. At least that's what Felix had said. Then Wendy's thoughts transferred from Pan to Felix. Why was she dwelling over how Pan felt when Felix, an acceptable boy, was right in front of her?
"Wendy, it's me Felix."
Felix was literally in front of her.
Wendy cracked a smile, "Felix, you shouldn't be here. Pan will find you and-"
Felix opened the cage, and reached his arm out for the girl to grab.
It was so dark, but luckily her eyes had adjusted to the blackness of the night.
Soon enough Wendy's hand grasped Felix's.
He gently helped her out of the cage.
"Actually Wendy, Peter wanted me to fetch you."
Wendy didn't care for Pan in this moment, all she wanted to do was embrace Felix, so she did.
"Felix don't take me to him, please, I couldn't bare to see his face. All he does is make a fool out of me. "
Wendy muttered into his chest.
Felix had never been held this way before, or anyway before. He didn't know how to respond to this affection.
"Well, Well. I ask you to fetch the bird for me, so you come here and make the moves on her?" Peter's voice sounded slightly annoyed coming from the dark.
Wendy quickly let go of Felix, it's not like she cared what Pan thought of her anymore. It's what he thinks of Felix.
"Peter, if you wanted to fetch me you should've done it yourself." Wendy snarled.
Felix secretly grabbed Wendy's hand in the darkness, their hands intertwined without Peter seeing a thing.
Peter scoffed "Darling I wasn't talking to you now, was I? " Peter asked while he moved closer to the pair. He reached for their hidden hands and ripped them apart.
"Now you're holding hands? What? Felix you must really care for this one huh?"
Pan mocked, "Yeah, I suppose I do. "
Wendy's heart skipped, she wasn't expecting Felix to say anything like that.
"Are you serious Felix?" Wendy started before the jade eyed boy barged in. " Well, well. Listen closely boy. She doesn't like you as much as you think. You haven't seen the way she looks at me while I kiss her body." Peter chuckled, he knew that this would stir the pot, but before either Felix or Wendy could respond to this Peter took Wendy and teleported too mermaid lagoon.
"Peter Pan you are simply out of your mind, you knew how that would make Felix feel! You selfish, psychotic, bastard! You don't care about anyone but yourself! "
Wendy yelled, her heart was pounding. She loathed Peter Pan, she absolutely loathed him.
Peter rolled his eyes, "Would you please stop yapping? I'm trying to think."
Wendy crossed her arms in annoyance, "You know Peter, I wont stop. I'm going to yap as much as I please. You can't deprive me from th-"
In that moment Peter placed a kiss onto Wendy's lips, not the corner of her mouth, not the nose or ear. But the lips
Wendy was in shock, she was a statue. Peters kiss felt passionate, it didn't seem like he was playing Wendy this time, but with Peter you can never tell.
Their lips parted, and Peters eyes were locked on Wendy's. It was silent.
Wendy knew full well she shouldn't have let that happen, she knew that Pan was twisted as well as their relationship. She was aware that they were most likely going to fight again, but right now Peter seemed so genuine, and vulnerable with Wendy.
Peter cleared his throat, "Well, that sure made you shut up."
In that moment their "moment" was thrown into the garbage bin.
Wendy stepped away from Peter in disgust , she knew this was too good to be true.
Wendy heard her name in the distance, calling and calling and calling. "Wendy? Wendy? Bird?"
The bird awoke immediately, to find herself laying amongst the rocks in skull rock with Peter standing over her, gazing at her.
"That was all just a dream?.." Wendy murmured to herself.
She was slightly disappointed, but knew she shouldn't be. "What are you talking about? " Peter knelt down beside Wendy, "Are you coming or not?"
"Where exactly?" Wendy questioned
Peter chuckled, "I assumed you'd be here for a while, so might as well start some training."
Wendy's eyes widened "Training?! Here for a while?! I thought I could leave? "
Peter looked frustrated, "Do you ever listen to a word that comes out of my mouth? Training, yes. Also I have told you what seems like hundreds of times I need you for an event, now stop your squawking and lets go."
