Tell Me A Lie

Chapter 12

I still cant bare myself to tell Lily.. I just cant.. While I'm contemplating on how I'm going to tell her Matt is downstairs with his mom and dad. Maybe I can wait until her doctor to tell her. I called the doctor to set up her appointment.

" This is London's Maternity Office. How may I help you?"

" Yes.. Um I would like to set up an appointment for my sister."

" Ok. What's her name and birthdate?"

" Lillian Collins. May 3rd, 2000." I said.

" What is the appointment for?" She asked

" Um... I just had her take a pregnancy test and all 3 came out positive and I just wanted to see if the test were accurate.. You know just an ultra-sound.. The thing is, she doesn't know.. I didn't let her see the tests. I kind of want the doctor to tell her that way I don't have to tell her."

" Oh! That's fine dear! Her appointment will be  with Dr. Martinez at 10:30."

" Thank you so much!"

" No problem. May I ask who's bringing her?"

" My boyfriend and I... Our mother passed a way 2 weeks ago and we're currently staying with a foster family until I turn 18."

" I cant allow you to bring her unless you are 3 years older than her or 16 years old or older."

" I am 17. I was born in 1997."

" Oh! Then okay that is perfectly fine!"

" Ok thank you so much! Have a nice day." She said you too and I hung up. I sighed and just fell on my bed.. This situation is so hard. I mean, like seriously.. She's going to be graduating 8th grade in like a month and a half. I need to talk to Hayes.

" Hello?"

" Hayes can I please talk to you?" I asked.

" Yeah sure. Whats up?"

" Um.. Can you meet me at the café across from your school?"

" Yea.. Your not going to kill or hurt me are you?"

" No.." I chuckled.

" And could you bring Lily.. I absolutely hate myself for what I did and I want to make it up to her." He asked me.

" Ok. I'm on my way." I said and he said ok.. I called Lily.

" Hey Lauren!" Her voice always soothes me.

" Hey Lily! Me and you are going somewhere.."

" Where are we going?"

" To Starbucks."

" Ok!" She appeared in my door way 10 seconds later. We walked downstairs.

" Miranda, were going to Starbucks.. Need anything while were out?"

" NO thanks dear!" She said and we walked outside. Our walk was filled with laughs.. It kills me to see that my little sister isn't going to be the same happy Lily for much longer. We arrived at the Starbucks and from a distance I see a figure wearing a red shirt holding flowers and a box in his hand. I knew who it was but apparently Lily didn't. We got closer and she turned her smile upside down. We got to the table and sat down..

" Hello." I say and he looks really upset.. If you look closely you can see his eyes are red. It looks like he's been crying.. I don't know.

" Hey Lauren. H- Hi Lily." He said very shaky.

" I wanted to talk to you.. All I know is that you shouldn't have done what you did."

" I know.. I deserved that last night.. I also did this to show how sorry I am." He pulled up his sleeve and I saw about 15 scars on his arm..

" Lily.. Please listen to me... I am so so so sorry.. Each time I hit you, I cut myself. After Lauren made it pretty clear that she doesn't want me talking to you I cut 10 more times. I cried all night. Yes you heard our conversation right but after he texted me and said,

' If you don't do it then I'll tell mom and dad you lost your v-card.' I didn't want to do it but if I didn't my dad would literally kick me out and I wouldn't have anywhere to stay and I wouldn't be able to see you.. Lily, you are the absolutely the best thing that has ever happened to me. I proved it when I took your commitment. You have every right to be mad at me but I really want you to take me back. To prove that I'm literally trying, I got you this for our 1 year anniversary." He said and handed her a long box. She opened it and gasped. She held it up and it said.

' Lily, I Love You So Much! ~ Hayes ' on it.. She started crying and jumped on him. He caught her and looked up to god and mouthed thank you. I find this sweet. So of course, I took a picture...

" Oh and these are for you Lauren. Their from Nash." He handed me a boquet of flowers. From Nash. There's a card on it.

' Lauren, im sorry for bribing Cameron to go out with you... I got these for you the day after that happened but changed the note. Please accept these. You don't have to forgive me but just accept the flowers please! ~ Nash,.' DATS BOOTY. I looked at them.. That was the 2nd hardest thing i had to deal with.. I don't care anymore. Im not going to forgive him. I looked at Lily and Hayes and knew that he was going to be a good father....Oh speaking of that.

" Lily you have a doctors appointment so you don't have to go to school tomorrow." I told her and she nodded.

" Well, I'm happy you guys solved things but Hayes promise her both 1 thing.."

" Yeah?"

" Promise that you wont EVER lay a hand on her."

" Lily, I promise on everything I love, own, and cherish I will NEVER lay a hand on you." He said and she smiled. She kissed him and the expression on their faces was proven that they'll be like that forever.

" Lily im heading home... Coming with or you gonna hang here?"

" I'm gonna stay here." She said and I nodded. I went inside to get a Frappuccino. Then I got a text.

From Matt- ' Hey babe! We're going on a date!' He texted me randomly.

To Matt- ' Um.. OK?' I responded and next thing I know I see a Matt walk into the café.

" Hey Lauren." He said cutting everybody in line and standing next to me.

" You just cut a bunch of people." I said and he shrugged..

" Are you ready to go on a date?" He asked and I nodded. He pulled my arm and lead me out of the café.

" My Frappuccino!" I whined. He chuckled and he lead me to an amusement park...

" What shall we ride first?" He said holding my hand. I seriously love this kid. Lauren Espinosa? That kind of has a ring to it, right? I don't know yet... We decided on a rollercoaster and had a fun time.
