Me:"Aughh...finally finished."
I was so full after I finished eating that porridge.
Sam:"Hana...Can I ask you something?"
Me:"Sure. What the question? "
Sam:"Can we be friends? "
He asked with a little blush on his face.
Me:"Oh... Err.."
I was surprise to hear that. Which was kind of awkward. For some reason, I felt butterfly in my tummy.
Sam:"....never mind then. You must be uncomfortable with me cause we just met."
He looks disappointed.
Me:"No,nothing like that...you are a friendly person. Of course we can be friends."
Sam:"Really? Thank you!!"
He gave me a charming and bright smile. His smile just make me feel warm.
Sam:"What's your school name?"
Me:"North middle school, you?"
Sam:"I haven't been to my school yet because I just transferred here..."
Me:"Oh... I see."
Since I felt more comfortable, I thought of asking him a question.
Me:"Do you live here with your family? "
Sam:"I live here alone..."
Me:"Oh, sorry..."
The both of us stay silent after that conversation. I then noticed it's 7.30 pm already.
Me:"Sam...I need to leave now. My family will be worried if I haven't be home."
Sam:"Oh..Sorry I keep wasting your time."
Me:"It's okay."
Sam:"Let me send you there as my apologies."
Me:"Okay..."
We walked together till we arrived at my house. Both of us didn't say a word till we get there.
Me:"So..Thanks for sending me here Sam. See you tomorrow."
I walked away, leaving him stood there. I felt bad for asking that question. Suddenly, he grabbed my hand.
Me:"What...?"
I said, surprise.
Sam:"Can you give me your phone number,please?"
Me:"Sure.. Lend me your phone."
So, I type in my number in his phone.
Me:"Done!"
Sam:"Thanks..see you tomorrow. Goodnight.."
Me:"Yes...goodnight. "
