(Y/N) was walking down the sidewalk, two binders full of papers in her arms. It was a few months after the Particle Accelerator explosion, five, to be exact, and she still hadn't learnt much about the powers she had gained afterwards. What was she even doing in public? She could hurt someone if she's not careful.
The next thing she knew, (Y/N) was falling to the ground, having been bumped by someone and losing her footing.
"Oh my, okay, uh, I'm so sorry, let me help you." The male said as he knelt to the ground to help pick up the papers that were now scattered all over the floor.
"No, uh, it's fine. I was lost in my thoughts, I wasn't watching where I was going." (Y/N) said quickly as they both reached for the same piece of paper. Their hands touched, and the male quickly withdrew his hand.
"Ow, uh, sorry. You just shocked me, I wasn't expecting that." The man said with a slight chuckle as he rubbed the back of his neck with his other hand.
"Oh, shoot, uh, I'm so sorry, it's hard to explain." (Y/N) said after she cursed under her breath. She looked up at the mystery man who helped her, and who she had accidentally shocked.
"Uh, do you- do you wanna sit with me? I'll pay for your coffee. It's no trouble at all, really." He said with a smile as he and (Y/N) stood up, him handing her her one binder.
"Oh, uh, sure." (Y/N) said with a small smile. "Oh, and thank you. Also, I'm so sorry about what happened. I really am. It's hard to explain." She said as she looked down before looking back up at the man. "I'm (Y/N), (Y/L/N)." (Y/N) smiled.
"I'm Cisco, Cisco Ramon." The man, now known as Cisco, said with a smile as he help open the door to Jitters open, letting (Y/N) walk in before him.
After a few minutes, the two were sitting at a table, both with their coffees. (Y/N) looked at her coffee for a moment before looking back up at Cisco. 'Why not tell him? I already hurt him...' she thought before taking in a slight breath. "Alright, I guess I can explain this easily." She said with a small smile.
"Explain what?" Cisco asked,l after taking a sip of his coffee. "You shocking me?"
"Yeah, uh, that." (Y/N) nodded. (Y/N) explained how she got her powers, furrowing her brows at her coffee before she looked at Cisco again. "I remember waking up a month later, and I was able to control electricity. Well, so far that's what I know I can control." She said with a small shrug. "And badly, might I add. I can emit electricity from myself I guess, and that's how I shocked you." (Y/N) said, looking down at her coffee, oblivious to the face Cisco was making.
"Woah woah woah. Wait." He said, causing (Y/N) to look up at him. "You have powers? Like, superhero powers? In the comic books?" Cisco asked, furrowing his brows slightly, but seeming awed nonetheless.
"Uh, I think? Please don't tell anyone. They might think I'm a freak, and then I'll never be able to get another job. All these papers are drawings and job applications." (Y/N) said with a shrug before he realized she had a bag over her shoulder. "Oh, well that's nice. I should've put the papers I wasn't looking at in my bag instead of holding them all- I'm so stupid." The female groaned, hanging her head for a moment before bringing it back up to take a sip of her coffee. When she did this, (Y/N) saw Cisco's face, and that his mouth was open slightly.
