16 years ago.....
Chaos erupted into the world of Amarillia, for the last time. The fight between the wizards and the enchanters had started . King Darius had declared war to take over Amarillia by force, since Queen Mari had refused to give up their land.
Never had a battle raged on with such pure hatred and greed before in the wizard kingdom of Amarillia. There had been many battles fought before but never one as intense as this one had become.
The once peaceful land of Amarillia had turned into a bloodthirsty battle for the enchanters. Many wizards were fighting for there family, their friends, their country, their queen, and her unborn child.
Queen Mari watched from her hidden balcony, where she was forced to hide. Her eyes burned as she felt tears stream down her face. The world blurred before her and then became clear again as she blinked her tears away. Her people were down there fighting for her, while she was hiding as if none of this was going on."Why must I say here while my people fight for their lives," Queen Mari thought.
She placed her hand on her enlarged stomach as she stood deep in thought.
This baby in her womb was the last hope for humanity. For wizards. Her baby had been placed with such a huge burden before he or she had even been born. What she would do to take this burden off her baby and keep it safe from this world was all she could ever ask. What she wou-A man cleared his his throat, causing Queen Mari to snap out of her thoughts.
"My Queen, you know you're not supposed to be here. You never know when an enchanter might see you. Especially King Darius. You have to keep yourself and your unborn child safe," the man said, voice tinted with concern.
"I know Justin. I just hate not being able to be with my family and helping them. I'm the Queen for Christ sake's but there's nothing I am able to do right now to help them. I feel so hopeless."
"I know my Queen but for you're safety and you're baby's, please step away from the window."
Reluctant to leave her people behind, she did as she was told and left the window. Queen Mari looked outside one last time, to see the battle still raging on. Sadness overcame her. She stepped down from her balcony and the turned to face Justin. As she did, she felt pain shoot through her back and settle deep in her stomach, which made her gasped in pain. She felt water trail down her legs as another wave of pain shot through her body."My Queen, what's wrong," Justin asked, his face etched with worry.
"The...b-baby...is...coming....now."Justin seemed to immediately start panicking.
"Umm don't move, just stay here. I'm umm going to get the maids for you, so stay." Running his hand through his hair, Justin took off running.
He started telling for the maids to get ready saying "THE QUEEN IS GOING TO HAVE HER BABY NOW,GET READY."Queen Mari seemed to chuckle despite the pain, seeing Justin in his panic mode. The pain seemed to come quickly and then disappear as quickly as it had come. Another wave of pain hit her body causing a scream to be ripped out of her throat. The pain seemed to intensify, getting worse every time. She started seeing black spots appearing before her eyes, indicating she was close to losing conscious. Justin was suddenly by her side, telling her something she couldn't hear as another wave of pain hit. Only this time it hurt even worse then the other. She managed a whimper as she tightened her grip on Justin's shirt. The darkness started to consume her until she no longer felt pain.
The pain seemed to be the only thing telling her she was back and conscious. Another intensifying wave of pain caused Queen Mari to gasp and stifle an scream. This seemed to get the attention of Justin.
"My Queen, do you recognize me," his voice drenched with worry.
"Ye..eess.. Justin," she gasped through the pain, "I do."
Justin's worries seemed to faced away. "W-where are...we,"Mari managed to ask.
"We are in the birthing room quarters, my queen. After you collapsed and lost all consciousness, the maids were worried about you and your baby's health so they brought you here, but you seem to be doing fine. They said in a couple of minutes you would be ready to give birth to your child." Justin exclaimed excitedly. "And I will become a God-father."
