"Finally"
Those were the first words to leave our protagonists lips as she stepped out of the plane and onto the lands soft, evergreen grass.

Fareeha Amari was her name, and she was a most prestigious young woman. The young girl was a part of the Egyptian Army, in which had stopped to take a breather in a small town called Adlersbrunn. The town was beautiful by day, but there were rumors about what went on in the night. However, they decided it would be a nice place to relax for a couple days.

"It's beautiful isn't it?" The Captain breathed in and hopped out of the plane. "Enjoy the place while you can, we'll be heading off by morning"

The woman nodded, grabbing her bags and taking her leave from the others. The village had arranged for them to sleep in one of the big guest cabins for visitors on the south end, close to where the beginning of the Black Forest was. There were many myths and legends about what had lied in that forest, yet nobody was brave enough to go find out. It was eerie, and not to mention creepy.

All the townspeople walked around with cheeky smiles on their face, not a care in the world. It was refreshing to see so many bright faces. Being part of the Egyptian Army, you only really saw faces of terror or horrified civilians, until they were saved of course. Her luggage trailed behind her and soon, she arrived at the rather large guest cabin.

Her hand twisted the door knob open, releasing the cool air onto her tanned skin. Ah the air, something she'd grown quite fond of. Spending most of her time in it had its perks. She could see over anything and everything, almost feeling as if she were a bird. Relaxing was never her favorite thing to do. She enjoyed her job, not only being in the air but protecting people. Protecting the innocents who couldn't protect themselves.

Fareeha lazily threw her bags to the side and explored the cabin. There was a fireplace with a long table in which resembled the stereotypical ones that were in Thanksgiving books for children. The whole place was really fancy compared to the modern, old fashioned village. She was really impressed, and now wished they didn't have to leave so soon. There was even a rather large kitchen in the very back, in which was styled so fancied, she couldn't believe this was a guest cabin.

The young Amari took this as a chance to get first pick on the rooms, and explored around. She'd decided on a room on the bottom floor, it was big and had a great view of the Black Forest everybody had talked so much about. She couldn't see what was so creepy about it, sure it was a little gloomy but she thought there was some beauty to it. The trees may have been towering and rather discreet from normal ones, but they were pretty to her. Scenery was something Fareeha had grown fond of. The grass was dead, wilted like weeds on the ground before it's entrance. She wanted to explore the Forest, it was only in her fearless nature to desire such a thing. She could only imagine what her team would say if she even tried.

'Maybe I shouldn't' Her voice echoed in her head asserted, 'I mean, there is tons of stories about those woods.. maybe I should just...'

"Well look at you, Amari" The Captain chuckled, leaning against the doorway casually. She looked up in stupefaction, turning to face the man. The captain had light caramel colored skin and stood, surprisingly, much taller than the young woman. She was rather tall herself, but he had her beat. He had thick muscular arms and a stone hard chest, a practically unbreakable body. It was clear in why he was the Captain. A title so proudly worn, he barely let anyone call him his real name. His smile was appraised upwards as he looked around the vicinity.

"Why'd ya pick this room, Fareeha?" He couldn't seem to find the catch to it. He knew the girl was more complicated than any other and had a reasoning behind anything she'd chose.
