3rd POV

The whole ride to Auradom has got to be one of the most awkwardest ride ever for four out of the seven people in the limo. Well five if you count the unconscious girl laying on Carlos's lap. They didn't know when MJ was going to wake up, but they knew she wasn't going to be happy. So when Carlos was creating the fake wand, Jay had to sneak in Fairy Godmother's office and stole some magic gloves. He remembered Fairy Godmother explained that it helped stopped this other princess when she couldn't control her powers during class. He thought it was a good idea to 'borrow them.' Now she can't use her powers to harm them...or kill them.

Carlos sighed, breaking the silence, as he continued to run his fingers through MJ's hair. "Guys, what are we gonna do when she wakes up? She's not exactly our biggest fan right now. Are you even sure these gloves are going to work?"

Evie nodded. "If it helped block the magic of that one princess, it can stop hers." Then she let out a sigh. "I feel terrible. We're the worst friends in the world and not in the good way this time."

"She's right," Mal said for the first time since her fight with Ben. "We're the worst. We all got accepted to Auradom and, as much as we hate to admit -" Mal looked at Evie, Carlos, and Jay. "We forgot about MJ."

"That's why Uma and her friends were able to get to her," Jay added. "They saw a missing piece of glass and shoved it into something that would never fit. MJ should have been with us."

Ben was looking out the window. "She would have been," He mumbled. The gang gave him a confused look. Ben looked at them, but avoided his gaze from Mal. "I knew MJ when she went by Merida Jr back then. I was little and thought calling her Merida Jr was too long and started calling her Mer. Our parents knew each other in her kingdom. When they were attacked she was suppose to live with us. She never came and we thought she was dead." He shrugged his shoulders. "I don't know how, but someone send her to live with Dr. Facilier."

Evie gave MJ's sleeping figure a sad look. "Who would do such a thing?" That was something no one knew.

"If MJ was sent to Auradom, then she never would have met us," Carlos said. "She could have lived the perfect life and be with her own people."

"She is with her own people," Mal snapped. "She's one of us. And we're not separating from each other ever again."

Jay crossed his arms. "And what if she wants to go back to the Isle? With Uma, Gil, and Harry?"

They all saw that little bond the four had. Uma and MJ got along really well. She's loves playing jokes with/on Gil, even if he didn't deserve it. And let's not forget the small glances that Harry would send MJ when they're in the same room. Jay even noticed it when she showed herself at their little apartment. Harry devious smile actually turned into a joyous one when she walked. And when he kissed her, Jay wanted to punch Harry in the face. Not because he had any feelings for her, he doesn't. Harry is the type of guy to use someone and Jay actually considers MJ as his sister. He would punch Harry of he harmed her.

"As much as it hurts saying this," Carlos started. "If MJ wants to go back to the Isle, let's let her. We've been putting our own needs ahead of hers. I mean, look at us, we actually kidnapped her."

"She'll thank us," Mal said with confidence.

"But what if she doesn't? We've been selfish. We should let her decide where she wants to go, we at least owe that to her."

They all looked at each other. They have been putting their own needs above others. They didn't know if MJ actually wants to be with them. Whatever friendship those five had is broken. It broke to a million pieces and they don't think it could be put back together. So, without words being said, they agreed.
