When Jack wakes up, he sees that it was 7:00; he only has 10 minutes to get ready. He quickly changes his clothes, grabs a crissont from the pantry, and quickly raced out to the bus stop just in time. Jack hides the crissont under his coat so the bus driver didn't see it since food isn't allowed on the bus. When he gets to class, he quickly finishes his book report on his choice book, A Paleblood Flame. Luckily, even though he was rushed to finishing the book report, he gets a good grade when it was time to present.

The rest of the day went very slow, but finally once PE came, the school day went by fast. On the bus, Jack and his friend Nick have a discussion on what they'd do if they won the lottery.

"If I won, I'd build a really nice gym with a high end gaming area," Jack says.
"So you'd live in a gym?" Nick asks.
"Well, most of it would be a gym," Jack replies, "but I'd have a really nice bedroom inside it, and I'd have the gaming room in another area inside it. So it obviously wouldn't be all on the gym floor."

By the time Jack gets off the bus, he's ready to do his homework. But suddenly as he's walking towards his house, he feels a giant vibration in the Earth. Was it an earthquake? A meteorite? No, it is an 80 foot aien spacecraft going almost Mach 1 towards a forest within a quarter mile away from Jack. Jack looks in disbelief as it flies over his head.

"Holy shi-" BOOM. A powerful shockwave is sent through the entire neighborhood and then some. Jack is knocked to the ground because of the power of the shockwave. Windows are shattered throughout the whole neighborhood. Even some of the windows of the houses in the neighborhood across Jack's are shattered by the impact. When Jack gets back on his feet, he saw everyone panic. Jack quickly runs toward the site of the crash. He runs as fast as he can, faster than hes ever ran. When he got to the crash site, he sees a giant crater, and in the middle of it, is the alien spaceship that crashed.

"Am I dreaming?" Jack says in confusion and disbelief, "This just all an illusion isn't it."
But it wasn't. It was real. More real than the moment when you ask a girl to a dance. It is so real, it defies the logic that lies within your brain. Jack looks down once more at the spaceship, then slid down the crater towards the spaceship and whatever mysteries to the universe that lie within it. When he got to the ship, he saw that there was a hole in it, big enough to slip into. When he gets inside, he sees nothing, only the humming of the remaining working parts of the ship. At that moment, a flash of light shines in Jack's eyes. Once Jack's eyes adjust to the light, he sees everything inside the ship. Everything in the ship was thousands of years ahead in technological advancements. While the ship was damaged on the outside, the inside was in pretty decent condition. Jack saw as data appeared on the windows of the ships cockpit. It was as if it was straight out of a book.

"This can't be possible! The only way this could even exist is if the alien species that own this ship were around way before us humans-"
Paranoia fills Jack's head as he begins to look around the ship.
"Or, if they're more evolutionary superior to us..."
Jack continues to look around and comes across a room with a closed door. He tries to pry the door open. Locked. Then Jack looks back at the control center of the ship. He sees all the fancy controls for the ship which are in the look of holographic controls, but in an unknown language. He wants to know what each control does, but he can't, since no one on the entire planet has ever even catches a glimpse of any alien spaceship by no surprise.

"Identity yourself!" the voice of an unknown origin orders.
Jack looked around, confused. No one was here, no signs of the aliens that piloted the ship.
"Identity yourself human!" the voice shouts once more.
"Umm....." Jack stutters, "my name is Jack. Where are you?"
"I am the ships main artificial intelligence," the voice replies showing up on the onboard screen, "I am a program designed by the Dezsarian race to aid in space exploration and ship controls. It is the reason why I am able to speak the native language of this part of the Earth."
"There's so much that I want to know," Jack says looking around the ship in wonder, "like who are the Dezsarian race?"
"Your race must not have been around long enough to know about the rest of the universe."
"Yeah, we didn't even know that there was other life forms out there. I'm the only person who now knows that there is other life out there. All we've seen are a bunch of other planets and some distant goalies, black holes, and that's about it."

Jack started to hear sirens and helicopters in the distance.
"Uh oh. Cops are coming, "Jack said looking out through the hole towards the direction of the noise. I've gotta get out of here."
"When they arrive, they will search this ship, and if you are still here then you will be taken away and quarantined because of the alien bacteria that covers you."
"Wait so I have alien bacteria on me?"
"Yes but do not panic. I will open the escape latch and when you walk through it, the bacteria will be killed off automatically."
The entrance to the back of the ship opens. Jack sees the entrance and runs towards it.

"Wait! Before you go, take this."
The door that was originally locked opens and inside sits a table with a pure white levitating orb the size of a softball hovering above the middle of it.
"What is it?"
"Its name on your world translates to Sphere Of All Knowledge. It is an ancient artifact dating back millions of years ago that is sought after by many in the galaxy. It contains more knowledge about the universe than anything could ever hope to obtain, and is capable with helping its user with many tasks."
"Why are you trusting me with this?" Jack asks, "I'm just a 17 year old kid that just so happened to find a spaceship that fell from the sky."
Dead silence fills the ship for a moment.

"If left here on this ship, the other humans which work for your parliamentary-"
"We don't have a parliament in the United States," Jack corrects, "we have a presidential system."
"Oh. Most of the what you humans call 'aliens' have a government which has a parliamentary system. Well what I am trying to say, is that your government can not be trusted with holding on to it, for that it could end up in the wrong hands."
"That's true, but still, I'm not just some special being of sorts. Like I said, I'm just a normal 17 year old that does basically the same stuff as anyone else my age. Well, I guess I should stop talking and get out of here before the military arrives."
He puts the Sphere in his pocket, and starts walking away. Then, as Jacks starts leaving, the ship's AI says something that Jack will remember forever.
"To the billions that live on Earth, you may seem like a normal person, but to the trillions that live among the stars, you are more important than you can imagine."
