Monster

I walked down the street unfocused, unaware of my surroundings. I only payed attention to the music coming from my headphones. My favorite song was playing ,'touchdown dance' by IM5.

As I was walking it got windy and cold but I thought ahead and brought a jacket. My hair blew in my face and blinded me for a moment. I could now sense something in my presence. I pause my music and took out my head phones. I was on a walk for the fun of it because I had nothing better to do in the summer.

I saw it now, it is the monster that came out of the sewers at its time of feeding. I only heard stories about it, I have never really saw it before. I was sickened with the thought of what was going to happen next.

As I watched it craw from bush to bush watching me I realized something...

*1 YEAR EARLIER*

We finally arrived at the new town and I was so excited to finally get out of the car. Its a very long drive from Phoenix, Arizona to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. And a big temperature difference!

I was so used to always wearing shorts and a tanktop when we got here I froze my bum off. I was amazed at how cold it is here in PA but I do have to think its fall.

I grab my bags and start walking into our new house, " Mom, where is my room so I can get settled?"

"It's upstairs to the right, the 3rd room down!"

"Thanks mom," I run into the door way of our just built, 2 story home. Everything looked beautiful and clean, and that's surprising knowing my family. I walk up the main staircase leading upstairs and find my room. I place my bag down as I hear footsteps at my door.

"Hi, umm, I noticed you just moved in and I was wondering if you need any help unpacking," a tall, blonde haired boy says. He is quite fetching I might say so myself. His dazzling eyes and grinning smile catch my eye. He looks very familiar.

"How did you get in here? May I ask."

"I'm your neighbor across the street and I came to greet your family. I talked to your parents for a while and they sent me to see if you needed any help."

" Uhh, I mean if you want to help you can..." He grabs a box from my bed and

opens it revealing my picture frames and books. He turns to a book shelf and places them neatly.

" So what's your name?" I ask curiously.

"I'm Dalton, Dalton Rapattoni."

" I KNOW YOU, YOURE FROM THE BAND IM5! I'm such a big fan of yours." I quiet down when I realize that I just fangirled in front of the Dalton Rapattoni. He chuckled a bit at me. I feel like such an idiot for doing that.

"What are you guys doing in Pittsburgh anyways?"

"Dana's family lives here so we are staying here while we are not on tour."

"Really, how long are you staying?"

" Till next fall," he replies and organizes my books and photos nicely on my dressers. " look I have to go for now we have a gig tonight and I have to go get ready."Dalton quickly walks out of my house as if he was really late for something, he had such a worried look on his face.

I finish unpacking my things and look at the time. it's almost midnight already! this time change thing has really got me all hung up. I change into my favorite pajamas and go to lay down. All I can think about was that Dalton Rapattoni was in my house and why he kind of freaked out when he left. What is going to happen to him? What is going to happen to me? Will he have anything special?
