Yue was puzzled by the scream.
Did the dragon spit someone out?
Yue began to tread toward the south of the river. Her black mane blocked her view as to where she was going. She threw it over her shoulder then lost her footing. Yue tumbled down a grassy hill, and let out a bloodcurdling scream. She came to an immediate halt at the end of the hill. Grass blades were scattered all over her and a clump of mud was sitting in her hair. Yue spat out the blades of grass in her mouth that got there from the screaming. She stood up, seeing a silver, shiny thing. The ground next to the metallic thing was covered in just dirt with some water from the river splashing against it. A small being was laying down next to the large silver destructive device. Yue's blood was already pumping with adrenaline, so she cautiously approached the being.
It looked like a body.
Shih really left a surprise for us in return for taking a bite out of our Sun.
Yue could barely catch a glimpse of this body's features. All she could make out is that it resembles a humanly figure of some of the boys in her village and has eyes that continued to flicker in between blue and green.
"What is your name?" Yue dropped to her knees beside the figure.
It said something in a strange language. A light glimmered from the figures body. Yue looked down the length of him. She saw a purplish white skin, a stick thin body, and a pair of black pants with no shirt. It must be a boy. His stomach was glowing a white light. Yue's eyes traveled up to his face. His face showed off all of his youth. He looked about six. A small kid had a teenager's body. The boy had a head much to big for its body.
"Perdo de chan."
"I am sorry little guy, but I don't understand what that means."
"Heal-l-lop me-h," The boy stutters.
Yue jumped up from her kneeling position. She stuck out her hand. The boy still was laying on the ground. Yue rose an eyebrow. She gripped her hands together, gesturing a pulling up motion. She stuck her hand out again. The boy took it. Yue pulled him up, stumbling in the process. The boy was the same height as Yue. For such a young age, he was very tall. Yue ran across the length of the hill, pulling him along with her. He kept saying stuff in his unknown language. All Yue could understand was the word what. They ran to the black void Yue was exploring earlier for her father. She could barely see where they are going. The boy began to glow again.
This boy is very strange.
Yue barely made out some rocks that remind her of a chair. She walked over to the rocks, plopping down on it. The boys sat down right next to her.
She pointed toward herself, "Yue."
The boy tilted his head and pointed toward himself.
"Zanashron." He said in a very uneasy way. His glow disappears.
"Ya speck chins." He said in very broken words.
"I do. What language do your people speak?" Yue questioned.
"I speck Planago." Zanashron said
His broken Chinese was killing Yue. "I can teach you Chinese, if you teach me Planago."
Zanashron began to glow.
Why does he glow like that? It is a strange custom for even someone from the sky.
