The door to Hoseok's apartment wasn't even closed when he had arrived.

When he opened the door, he was greeted by a trail of blood which led to the couch.

"Hoseok? Are you there?" He asked. He could hear some heavy breathing coming from the living room.

He followed the trail carefully and when he saw Hoseok curled up on the floor in pain, he threw his bag down.

"Are you okay?" Hoseok's face was covered in cuts and bruises, and his hair was matted with sweat and blood. Hoseok coughed violently, and fresh blood left his mouth.

When he saw the massive bruise on Hoseok's abdomen, he gasped. Hoseok wasn't even replying him. He whimpered when Hyungwon ran his fingers softly down the bruise.

"Hang in there, I'll get an ambulance." He pulled his phone out and quickly called for an ambulance.

He realized that this was the second time he was calling an ambulance for Hoseok. He actually felt sorry for him. He even thought of forgiving him.

No, you can't.

Hyungwon forced the lump in his throat down, as he gently caressed Hoseok's hair. He had never seen Hoseok in so much pain before.

"Just...go...don't...let...them...find..."

Hoseok whispered. He tried shifting away from Hyungwon, but the pain ripped through him again and he fell still.

"Who's them? The people who attacked you?" Hyungwon leaned over. But Hoseok had closed his eyes. "For God's sake, don't fall asleep. You know what happens if you fall asleep?" Hyungwon patted Hoseok's cheek gently.

Hoseok's eyelids fluttered before he turned away from Hyungwon.

Hyungwon listened to Hoseok's ragged breaths quietly.

Hang in there, buddy.
