Step number one. Story plot.
This is the very important criteria when writing a story. Some may vary a story which is very common nowadays. Stories which have the plots like "Be careful with my heart, Meteor Garden, Boys over flowers, Got to believe(G2B)" As we can see inside these stories, they have the common point of view where the female protagonist is a maid then the male protagonist is the Boss, the Boss hates the female outside but there's something inside he can't explain. Then the female have some sort of feelings for the male's bestfriend, bla bla, etc. So as we can see, these kind of stories is what the community likes. If there goes on some sort of stories which is popular; they like that story but, within a different prospective.
Firstly - Don't plagiarize a theme of a story neither on how it will flow. Surely, when others read this they will say, "I've read this already, I know how it'll go," then they will press the back button and read another story. This is the most common problem about stories.
Secondly - If the title is not common (we'll talk about that on step number two) and the reader's eye catch that title, make sure not to regret their minute clicking your story and wasting their time trying to find out what will happen. This is very helpful.
Thirdly - On your prologue, make it very short and interesting. It gains reader's interest in clasping the story plot and it makes them want to feel giddy inside because of the lines you will provide on that story (I advice you to write some lines of the protagonists so that it will be sort of interesting, like I said, just "sort" it doesn't mean the lines benefits the whole story to make it interesting. Make it like this;
He was crazy, all crazy for this woman who will never change, and the woman she can only see from afar, but yet, he stays as her angel. He came back down to the earth just to fix this one, damn freak. She never care at the world after all, never cared about herself.
While this angel of hers, so angelic, that he only watched her from afar, only wishing she would choose the best decision. Apparently, she actually chooses the best decision since, from anybody of all; she enjoys her life, away from judgments, away from all those hurt.
"My name is Kim Heechul" he bluttered, "and I'm here to change you."
"My name is Jung Sooyeon" she replied stubbornly with a shrug. "and I don't care about you."

The lines are supposed to clasp some part of the story plot because it reveals some part from it, which is 15.3% benefit from the story you are writing.
Fourthly - Do a brainstorm. I'm very sure you know brainstorming. Like, mixing up some sci-fi, romance, action, something like that and combining it into a story. It's interesting if you'll make the story like a drama. Since all of the stories are mostly romance, I suggest you to add some to that. For example; Gold (Au) it's plain, it has nothing, it has no mixture at all. You have to add something in order to make the story quite unique in everyone's eyes.
