*y/n POV*
It's been a few days since I seen Joey. I wonder if he was still in the hospital. I'm staying at Aaron's house for awhile. I decided to call Joey.
It rings a few times then he picks up.
"Hello" I say in to the speaker
"Y/n? Is that you?" He asked and fast too.
"Yeah, yeah. I uh just wanted to know if you were back home safe and stuff" I say holding the phone close
"Y/n thanks, I'm fine.... Came back to the house yesterday actually." He replies with a laugh at the end.
"Can I ask a quick question?'
" Sure" You could tell he was confused.
"Why didn't you just say... Home? "
"It's not a home without you." He didn't even stutter. He had a really serious tone when he said it.
"Joey I-"
"Thanks for checking up on me (what ever your nickname is), love you."
"Love you too" I end the call and walk upstairs to Aaron's room.
"Hey" Man he was always so upbeat and happy!
*Joey's POV*
Aaron's helping me plan a surprise for y/n. I hope it works, I need her back.
I didn't want it to be weird so I started to end up the conversation. I can't believe she called just to check up on me!
