How I almost drowned:
I think this happened somewhere around third grade. Actually it was the summer after third grade. Me and my best friend at the time, Claire, had gone to the beach. The waves were giant. But we weren't allowed to go out to far until my uncle got there. (Note: Claire has asthma) Anyway my uncle finally got there and we went deeper. A couple minutes a wave that was about 6'5 came out of nowhere. My uncles like 6'3 and the wave somehow took him under. Well I tried to jump the wave but got taken under. And I can't swim. So I tumbled for about 30 seconds until I finally made it to shore. I jumped up and was gasping for air while trying to find Claire. I finally spotted her and made my way to her. We didn't go in the water much after that but yea.
