I'd accomplished several good things. Nel is happy again, because she has a dog. I haven't seen Keith, but I've been at home less and less. I'm busy with Carlin and other new friends. But something remained unaccomplished — Brooke. She was still a rebel to me, and mean as ever! She's practically stolen my dad!
However I no longer feel that boiling rage. We have totally been neutralized. I understand her.
We aren't friends, never could be — but we are step sisters. Not enemies.
