Okay so, one of my friends helped me with this and I also just kind of realized it.
Andy and Conner would be basically the exact same if they were brainwashed by Daniel. Conner would just be his usual happy, positive self just with murder and white clothes. Then Andy would just be normal.
Here's the part my friend came up with:
Daniel just really doesn't like Conner. Like, he's the one he's trying to sacrifice. And Conner wouldn't catch on because he can be a little stupid sometimes.
I just feel like Daniel would be kind of freaked out by Andy. Like, he's just thinking, "I don't like how similar this child is to me."
Another thing I came up with, if Andy was a canon character, I thought it would be funny if the ONE FREAKING DAY she decides not to wear her yellow shirt, is the day Daniel is there. Max probably thought that she was already purified or something.
