Month after month I saw more and more bottles piling up on the counter, When my dad died my mom chose drugs and alcohol to help ease her pain. I was too young to understand her choices but my sister Amanda tried to stop her but mom could not cope without them.

Since mom wasn't capable of taking care of me, Amanda step in where she could like walking/driving me to school and going to the store to get groceries.

in my small family of three my sister acted the oldest, she was taking care of me and my mother, once my sister had to lock my mom in her room with three bottles of water and a loaf of bread, because she was to drunk to stand or walk.

Amanda was the only one making money in my family and it wasn't much. She only made $11.50 an hour so sometimes she would drop me off at a daycare and go to work for hours on end. It came to the point sometimes she wouldn't leave work. She would rather stay there that deal with out mother.
