"Everybody settle down, our homeroom adviser is about to come!" shout Iida, the class representative of Class 1-A. He hurries back into his seat right before Sir Aizawa enters the class.
"Good morning everyone," says their homeroom adviser who looked like he did not get enough sleep last night, not exactly a new thing for them either. "It's the first day of October and an event was planned out after classes."
"Halloween!" Everyone exclaims, everyone except the adviser himself.
"Are we going to wear costumes?" "I want to wear a vampire costume! That'll be cool!" "I want to be a pumpkin head!" The students riots their ideas and the class representative calls out their attention to settle down once more.
"You guys are being enthusiastic. Of course those things won't happen," says Aizawa in his tired, monotonous tone and everyone's gaze starts to fade in to blank. "In additional, there's going to be a test of courage from 10 of the evening until 4 in the morning."
"Test of courage?!" Everyone's faces brightens back up again but this time, terror can be seen.
"Everyone is expected to participate in the event, it'll test your bravery and your strength to face your fears and inner demons." Aizawa announces but wasn't fully acknowledged due to the students' terrified reactions.
Bakugo, on the other hand, stays sane. Quite so due to the fact that he can't make Mineta shut up about ghost stories and it was annoying enough to make him stand from his seat. Technically, he wasn't scared but it was Mineta's voice that annoys him, he was like a low average Midoriya.
Right after the commotion, everyone was set into different teams. Bakugo, on the other hand, is unfortunately teamed up with Iida Tenya, Asui Tsuyu, Mineta Minoru. He groans in aggravation and sits back to his seat, plopping himself roughly in the chair.
Tenya approaches him slowly and says, "Please cooperate with us during the event," only to receive a fierce look and Bakugo's explosive gesture.
"I'm not going to survive!" Mineta cries out and points his shocking hand to Bakugo. "If it weren't for Asui-san, I would've backed out."
"I don't know if that was a compliment or not," Tsuyu whispers in response.
Some of the groups start to plan while others were too busy trying find out how cooperation was a word they can all agree to. Kirishima, prior to the announced group, is much pumped up to the idea. Basically, he was lucky to be part of an excellent team; Todoroki Shoto, Yaoyorozu Momo, and Midoriya Izuku. Their team was well-oriented about what might happen during the test and plan specific places they expect to be safe from any harm. They also lay out the possible surprises the school has planned; traps, jump scares, and other surprising factors that will test the heroes' ability to adapt and their level of courage.
Their plan is bulletproof and there is an enormous chance that it will result to success. Except Kirishima did not pay attention enough to know each and every detail the plan has since Mineta and Bakugo's argument was unavoidable to notice. And, well, Bakugo was such a gifted boy that pulling out a surprise attack is something Kirishima was interested to see. The boy never cease to surprise him.
...
Nine o'clock rolls around and everyone was distributed in different rooms. The rule is to survive the night with your respective teams. No one can forfeit the game nor can a team be disqualified. A test of endurance and patience. A test of courage and bravery. A test of critical thinking and logic. A test of teamwork and cooperation. A test of defense.
Minor attack are allowed but explosions or any large scale attack are banned due to the fact that the event was set indoor and this came out as a disadvantage to Bakugo. When you come to think of it, his quirk is more suited in outdoor battles and attacks with the word "chaotic" attached to it. Such casualties are forbidden so he plans for a new way of survival, forgetting the fact that he has a team with him.
