Arianna's P.O.V

We left the restaurant smiling after an amazing evening as Shawn kept our hands laced and led us to the car. "So are we going home now?" I asked as he stood at the open car door on my side, "well I've got one more thing for you Princess," he said smiling as he closed my door for me and I pulled the seat-belt across my chest and Shawn sat on his side of the car starting it up and driving us off somewhere. "I cant believe you're my boyfriend." I whispered as I looked at the gorgeous man in front of me. "Yeah well I can't believe you said yes." He replied smiling art me and lacing our fingers inbetween one another. "So can I know where we're going?" He smirked and shook his whilst I stuck out my tongue. We continued driving for about half an hour , no words were spoken yet it was a comfortable silence.

We drove into a car park and pulled up in a parking space before getting out of the car. Shawn took my hand once again and we walked to wherever he was taking me , "Wait whats that?" I pointed at a large circular silhouette in the distance as we continued towards and then i figured it out. "OH MY GOD SHAWN ARE YOU TAKING US TO A FAIRGROUND?" I screamed he grinned and hugged me in his arms. "Yep , now come on." He said grabbing my hand and running into the fairground, we queued up in a line for tickets and then got to the booth. "Hi how can I help you two today?" A girl asked. "Hi can we just get two wristbands." Shawn said taking out his wallet. "Babe no I'll pay for mine." "No you won't I will Ari." The girl in the window smiles at the two of us and gets out the two wrist bands before cashing it up. "Well that's gonna be ten dollars and honestly you to are such a gorgeous couple." She said as Shawn handed her a 10 dollar bill and smiled back at her I smiled and blushed as she said the words. "Thank you." I said as she handed me my wrist band. "Have an amazing evening darlings." She said we smiled and thanked her before walking into the fairground. "This is amazing" I breathed as we walked to one of the game stands , I handed them 2 dollars for a game and Shawn did the same as we fired water pistols at the cardboard characters trying to win, I grinned and turned to spray Shawn laughing at the shock on his face before I turned back to my game trying to shoot the characters I felt cold water hit my side. "AHH Shawn." I squealed and shook my head out just as the game finished, we walked of to one of the sky drops and lined up, waiting shortly to get onto the large seat and sitting next to each other as bars were pulled over our necks we turned to look at each other and I saw Shawn had a shaky smile on his face. I grabbed his hand in mine and stroked the back of his hand with my thumb. "Are you alright?"  asked he nodded and let out a large breath.

Shawn's P.O.V

My fingers shook at the thought of the drop I was about to face, I hated hated heights but I didn't want to leave Arianna by herself so I decided to go on it without a second thought , but now strapped in I was shit scared no turning back now though I felt a small hand grab mine and looked to see my girlfriend giving me a small encourgaing smile whilst stroking my hand with the pad of her thumb. "You alright?" She asked , I nodded and took a large breath before calming myself. "Yeah just not good at heights." "You're gonna be fine I'm right here." She said , I smiled and the ride jumped as we began to go up into the sky I didn't look down but just looked over and it was amazing I could see all the lights and heard laughing and music. "It's beautiful." Arianna sighed and I watched as she smiled and then we dropped I screamed as we dropped. Arianna laughed and we stopped, the bars were pulled up and she slipped off as I tried to get my breath back. "Come on Babe let's go on one of the water rides." She said as I got off the ride and wrapped my arm over her shoulder as we walked over to the log flume. "I can't believe you wanna do this in your dress." "Who cares I just wanna have some fun." She laughed and dragged me over to the water ride as we climbed into one of the logs and went through dark tunnels and went up a slope before going round and dropping straight down , water coating us and chilling my bones. "Shittttttttt." She said rubbing her arms to keep her blood circulating. "Come on I've got a hoodie in my car I'll go grab it for you. "Shawn I'm fine." I rolled my eyes at her "Stay by the ticket booth and I'll go grab it for you." "No Shawn Honestl-" "No shhhh you're freezing." I said and quickly jogged off to the car.

Arianna's P.O.V

I stood by the ticket booth as Shawn had ran off to go grab a hoodie for me, I looked around the fairground and it was magical , every part of it was just full of happy family's and loved up couples. "Arianna." I looked up to see Danny my ex boyfriend in shock. "Why do you look so surprised to see me , wow news flash people come here." eh shook his head. "Still a little bitch I see, never change do we and who are you here with big brother Jason?" He said in a baby voice "Would you piss off already no I ain't here with Jace I'm here with my boyfriend Shawn." I stated crossing my arms. He just nodded but didn't convinced. "Oh is that Shawn Mendes as in the same one who's apparently babysitting you , why the fuck would a super famous guy wanna hang out with a slag like you." He stated , I felt tears prick at my eyes and he smirked before walking off into the fairground. "Im ba- Princess what happened." Shawn asked as he saw the stray tear that had found its way on my cheek , I opened my mouth to speak but more tears came out and he held me in his arms kissing my forehead. "Oh baby shh whatever happened it's okay you can tell me all about it but now we're gonna go have some fun on that Ferris wheel , that sound good?" He asked I nodded and wiped my tears whilst Shawn pulled his crewneck sweater over my body and rubbed my arms. "Yeah let's go." I said and we walked off to the large wheel getting into one of the many seats for two. We slowly went up and I leaned on his shoulder as he wrapped both arms around my waist and held me close to his body as we slowly watched the world pass. "I saw my ex , that's why I was crying , I saw him and he was making fun of me just the usual calling me a slag and a bitch he said everything about you was a lie and yeah." He sighed . "Ari you know everything he says is just to annoy you I mean he probably says stuff like that to get under you cause he's jealous you're better than him." I nodded at his words and stared at our feet dangling down over the rest of the city, total tumblr moment. The ride came to an end and we walked off hand in hand to one of the food stands. "They do candyfloss oh my god yesss." I said grinning as I took out money and paid the man as he wrapped the fluffy pink candy around a cone and handed it to me a smile plastered on the man's face I said a thank you before turning to Shawn and feeding him a piece of candyfloss he smiled and I continued to eat the rest as we walked through the fair ground "We're going on dodgems come on." Shawn said pulling me towards the attraction full of parents and children, I finished my candyfloss and followed him as we got into separate dodgems , I strapped into the small car and an beeping noise went off which signaled we could start I drove round spinning the small wheel and bumping into small children and girls my age laughing as I did so I felt a bump and turned to see Shawn waving and laughing and I laughed and a smile spread across my lips as I reversed into him laughing as I drove around quickly to hit him from the back. "Oi that's not fair." He pouted and I laughed as the car slowed down automatically and I smiled as I climbed out and walked over to Shawn , as he stood up and we walked out , just as we were making our way to the car he stopped to grab me in front of the Ferris wheel and dipped me down kissing me slowly and passionately to which I returned happily wrapping my arms around his neck as his arms were around my waist supporting my body as I melted into his touch. We slowly pulled away and I smiled dreamily up at him as he stared down at me lovingly and kissed my nose. "Time to go home?" He asked as he cuddled me in his arms I nodded against hos chest and yawned. "Yeah I'm tired." He laughed and we made our way back to the car driving home slowly , taking in everything. "Thank you Shawn , this has got to be the best date ever." I said as he stroked my thigh. "It's fine I loved it aswell." He said turning to look at me quickly before turning his concentration back onto the road. We parked outside my house and walked in closing the door and making our way into his room I hugged him tightly as soon as we were sat on the bed. "I love you." I whispered into his shoulder, "I love you too and I promise I'll never leave you ever." He said holding me tightly in his strong arms , this was my safe place and I never wanted it to change.
