"Is that really how you feel?"
I asked the boy,
the knot in my throat forming.
"Yeah y/n, I do."
Jack sighed,
running his hands through his hair in frustration.
I leaned against the wall,
the silence in the house filling my head.
I then slowly turned on my heels to walk up to the stairs,
but the voice in my head told me to stay.
Why should I?
He had hurt me and I wasn't in the right mind to speak to him,
at least not right now.
Against my better judgment,
I trailed up the stairs before hearing Johnson,
"Y/n."
I ignored him and headed for the bedroom,
closing it and locking it behind me.
I laid myself on the bed as his words repeated in my head.
"You're clingy and you're always overthinking shit."
He was right,
after all.
With him being on tour all the time,
all I was left to do was overthink and miss him.
I let a loud groan escape my body and into the pillow,
while his scent burned the back of my throat when I inhaled.
It was relaxing,
despite the anger that coursed through my veins.
"Baby. Open up,"
J's voice was mellow through the closed door.
It had only been a few minutes since our argument,
but it felt like an eternity passed without my lover.
I sat up,
my head throbbing as I looked around the cold and dark room.
I sighed a small sigh before I slowly unlocked the door,
and opened it.
J instantly threw his arms around me,
pulling me close to his chest.
I smiled to myself knowing he wasn't gonna let me go anytime soon.
My arms slowly wrapped around him and I felt the boys breathing pick up.
"I love you. I'm so sorry, y/n. You're not clingy..Hell, I'm worse than you. I can't ever keep my hands off you! I'm sorry."
I laughed quietly into his chest,
just glad to be back in his arms.
"It's okay, my love. We're still learning,"
I reassured him,
soon looking up at him to stare into his those welcoming eyes of his.
"I love you,"
He spoke,
then placed his lips on mine.
The yearning that buried in the depth of my chest soon vanished once our lips became one.
I smiled against his lips,
"I love you too, Johnson."
