You slouched down in your seat of the bus. You hated this. You were going to a summer camp.. Your parents had said that it'll be a great opportunity to make more friends. But you completely disagreed..
The bus arrived at the camp and you walked off the bus. A cheerful guy with reddish hair greeted you with a joyful smile. You half smiled back. "Welcome to the funnest summer camp ever, kiddo!" He said happily. He pointed to himself as he said "nice to meet you my name is David. I'm one of the Camp Consolers here at Camp Campbell!" You smiled a bit, "m-my name is y/n, nice to meet you David" you said feeling happier than you felt on the bus. You turned your head to see someone about your height but I little taller, beside David. You smiled at him but he jut rolled his eyes. You exchanged looks than David started saying stuff about the camp. He gave you a tour Around the camp. You felt much better. Seeing a bunch of campers smiling with their friends. Besides that one kid who was with David.. It left questions flowing threw your head. "Does he not have friends? Does he hate it here? It seems so happy here why would he hate it?" You were excited to be in a happy environment for a change. Over the past few years you had gotten really depressed, and you originally thought the camp would be some boring place filled with miserable people. But it wasnt. There was this green haired girl that was really nice to you. Her name was Nikki. And her friend Niel. But it seemed like they were friends with that kid in the blue hoodie from earlier. His name was Max. You decided to not spend too much time around him cuz it seemed like he always brought down people's moods.
You were excited for the summer
You and Nikki became close friends just by the end of the day and things were great. That night, you and Nikki were just talking and laughing about random stuff when Max approached you two. "Hey, idiot. David wants to talk to you." He said. Nikki and you exchanged a look, "who are you talking to? Me or y/n?" Nikki asked. Max rolled his eyes and sighed, "he wants to talk to y/n. Seriously Nikki who would want to talk to you." Nikki frowned a bit then smiled again and shrugged. You followed Max and he brought you to David.
David was just tellin you where you tent was. He walked you to it. You walked in. You saw two beds on each side of the tent (lets just pretend the tents are like the ones from the equestria girls Legend Of Everfree movie lol)
You looked at David kinda confused. "Heh i probably should mention that all campers share tents.. And his tent was the only one with a free bed.." David scratched the back of his head. You were even more confused, "wait.. 'His'??? Who's tent is this??" You looked around and saw a familiar blue hoodie. You eyes widen a bit and you frowned. "I have to share a tent with Max?!" You sighed. You knew he'd bring down your mood. But you decided to not care too much and give him a chance. "I'm hoping thats ok." David said frowning. You just nodded, "yeah, I guess.." He smiled and left the tent. You sighed. You sat on one of the beds. You took off your backpack and opened it. You heard someone coming closer to the tent. Max walked in and he had his hands shoved in his pockets and he flopped on to his bed and let out a loud sigh. He looked over at you and said "so your here now?" You looked at him confused, "pardon ?"
He rolled his eyes,"never mind.." You noticed he looked kinda sad, so you asked "are you ok?"
He gave you a death stare just crossed his arms and mumbled. You were slightly confused at him. But you shrugged it off and decided to sleep.
As you drifted off to sleep you dreamt of the endless fun possibilities you could do at this camp with your new friends. You were pumped and couldn't wait for it
