The Fake Girlfriend Prank

You and Colby had been close friends the moment you had accidentally bumped into him and Sam filming themselves exploring the same abandoned building that they were, and had ended up on their Youtube video.

Since then, you had gotten closer to the two, especially Colby, but haven't actually been formally introduced to their other house-mates. But you knew that they were going through a prank war, and this time it would be Colby's turn to do something to stay in the lead, and he had the perfect idea.

He called you up to meet him at your favourite burger place at noon to tell you his plan. You pulled on a pair of black ripped skinny jeans, a cropped grey shirt and your black Vans that Colby bought for you so you two could match, and went to the place where Colby had already been waiting, wearing the same Vans that you did. You were against the idea of him buying you it, but deep down you knew you loved the fact that he wanted to match with you because you had the biggest crush on him and what started out as him just being that really hot stranger you met exploring some abandoned place, became the person you started to fall for when you got to know him better. It was both scary and amazing how easily you two got along. But you never had the courage to tell him how you feel because you were afraid of rejection, and you didn't want to break the friendship either, so you've kept it to yourself all this time.

When you got to the place, you saw that Colby had already gotten there before you. You noticed he was wearing the black Vans too and smiled to yourself. He always looked gorgeous no matter what he wore, it was hard to believe that you, being a potato, could be best friends with such a model.

As usual, he was busy looking at his phone that he didn't notice you walking up. So you smiled teasingly and placed a hand on the table in front of him. "Hey there, I don't suppose you've seen my friend around have you? He's about 5'10, always wears a hat, brown hair and kinda ugly. Know anyone like that?" Colby looked up at you and smiled that boyish smile you loved. "Uh, no actually. But I think I know a dark haired, 5'1 midget that isn't getting her food," he teased back and you gasped. "Nooo!" You were feigning being devastated and he laughed, standing up to hug you and you hugged him back, feeling snug in his arms.

You caught up with each other and waited for your food to arrive before Colby began to tell you his prank idea.

"So you know how I'm basically going to be a single virgin for the rest of my life because I have 0 chance with any girl?" He started casually, making you laugh a little. You wondered how someone so gorgeous would ever think that. "Yeah well, I decided that I'm going to prank them by saying I have a girlfriend, and I need you to pretend to be my girlfriend so that it's believable." You almost choked on your burger. Be his girlfriend? You would do it in a heartbeat. Ugh, but unfortunately he meant fake girlfriend. You swallowed your bite and nodded, even though you were pretending, you were just as excited as he was to pull the prank on them, especially on Sam.

Later on, Colby drove the both of you back to his house where his house mates were. All but Corey and Sam were home and they were upstairs in their room, giving you two the perfect opportunity to set up the hidden camera in the living room beneath a blanket, and to go over what would be said.

"Okay guys," Colby spoke to the camera. "This is Y/N, and she's going to help me with the prank I'm about to pull on Corey and Sam. They're the only two in the house at the moment, so it's going to be perfect. Y/N is going to pretend to be my girlfriend when I announce it to them and go along with the prank."
