Hey, I'm back. So, from what my research tells me, they both first meet when Forrest helps her defeat Team Rocket. He continues to help her with catching a Wurmple and chasing away Team Rocket again. He wanted to travel with May, but decided against it, and they parted on friendly terms. So, this ship seems nice.
