Day Twelve:

Harry walked into his usual Starbucks that morning, replaying the events of the night before in his head.

He had never opened up to anyone like that before.

He had never been intimate with someone and actually enjoyed it.

But none of it mattered. It could never work.

He tried to convince himself that he never wanted to see that annoying boy again.

Although he couldn't help but feel sad when he walked into the building that morning and saw Louis was no where to be found.

Harry frowned, walking to the front counter.

He knew it was for the best.

"One Venti non- fat vanilla latte.." Harry paused. "Please."

The barista looked up with a shocked expression. She couldn't believe this man just said please. "Umm.."

"Is there a problem?" Harry asked.

"No.. you just seem." She cocked her head. "Different today."

"I feel different." Harry smiled.

She smiled back. "I will have that right out for you.."

"Thank you."

Harry sat down, waiting for his drink.

He couldn't help but remember all the times Louis would bother him while he would wait for his drink.

He kind of missed it.

Harry shook his head, trying to get the image of that boy out of his head.

But it was useless..

Every time Harry closed his eyes to blink, he pictured Louis' beautiful face standing there.

His messy hair, his bright blue eyes, his tan skin, his stupid tight t-shirt with suspenders, his stupid little dog named Larry, his adorable little house, the stupid nicknames he would call him

Princess.. Curly..

Harry shook his head again, trying to shake the thoughts out of his mind.

He started to remember the gifts he bought him. The gorgeous ring, the rose, the dinner.

"Stop thinking about him.." Harry mumbled to himself.

"Non- fat vanilla latte!"

Harry walked up, retrieving his drink.

The barista stopped him before he could walk away.

"I don't mean to be nosy.." She started. "But how did the date go last night?"

"It was umm.." Harry smiled, looking down at his drink. "Ok.. I guess."

"Well you seem happy.." She smiled. "It must have went well.."

Harry looked up. "Yeah.."

"Well.. see you around.." She said, waving.

"Yeah see ya.."

Harry walked out of the building, still trying to his best to shake off the thoughts of the night before.

--

Harry walked his usual route home, admiring all the trees as he strolled through the park.

He stopped in front of the tree where Louis had first kissed him.

He sighed loudly, staring at the tree.

"It's a beautiful tree, isn't it Princess.."

Harry heard a familiar voice say from behind him.

Who else would call him princess..

Harry turned around.

There was Louis standing there, holding a rose in his hand.

"You left your rose in my car last night.." Louis walked up, handing him the rose. "Here.."

"You came all the way out here just to give me this rose back?" Harry asked, clasping it in his hand.

"Yes.." Louis smiled. "I'm sorry I broke the deal.. I just had to give it back to you.."

Harry stood there quietly, looking down at the rose.

"Right.." Louis turned around, walking away. "Goodbye Harry.."

Harry watched the boy walk away.

Every fiber of his being was telling him to let him go. He would never have to see him again.

But his heart was telling him something else.

"Louis!" Harry shouted.

"Yes?" Louis turned around quickly.

"I think you forgot to give me something else.."

"What?"

Harry ran up to him, grabbing Louis' face in his hands.

"This.."

Suddenly Harry crashed his lips in Louis', kissing him passionately in front of the same tree where they had shared their first kiss.

Louis pulled away, catching his breath. "But I thought you said it would never work.."

"I can't stop thinking about you Louis." Harry paused, looking deeply into his blue eyes. "You drive me crazy, Peter Pan.."

"You drive me crazier, Princess.." Louis smiled, his eyes welling up.

Harry crashed his lips into Louis' once again, hugging him tightly. "You make me want to be a better man.."

"Really?"

"Yes.." Harry began. "I'm gonna quit my job and become a better person.. I'm tired of feeling used when I know there is someone out there who can like me for me.."

Louis couldn't believe his ears.

Harry smiled. "I want to give this a shot."

"Really?" Louis asked. "But I thought you said you never wanted to see me again.. that was the deal, right?"

"Let's make a new deal.." Harry smirked, pulling Louis' hips close to his. "How about you give ME one night.. and in return you have to annoy me every morning at Starbucks."

"Sounds tempting, curly.."

"Is it a deal?" Harry asked, lips close.

"Hmm.. it's a deal."

"Great.." Harry mumbled, walking away slowly. "I'll pick you up at 7.."

"Great.." Louis smirked.

"Oh and Louis.." Harry said, turning his head back. "Wear something nice.."
