vampire trouble

When I woke up the next morning Leem was gone and keen was gone too. By the way keen is my Dad's half brother, he visits sometimes. I got up and went to my bathroom, did my morning cleansing and put on clothes. I then walked downstairs to go to the kitchen to get something to eat. My phone rang and I answered it.

"Hi this is leem how are you today Vera?"

"I'm great today, i'm all cleaned up and ready to get the day started!"

"Well good because I have to come and get you, your not going to school today so just be waiting for me downstairs OK?!"

"OK Leem, but where are we going? Am I going to be able to see my father yet or no?"

Leem didn't say anything after that just hung up the phone and left me in the dark with no information other then 'make sure i'm at the door'. I did get my bag and waited outside, I locked the door behind me and made my way to the chair that is in front of my house. I always used to sit here with my mother and do lots of things as females do. But she left my father for a 'better man' as my mother would say. She still comes to visit, but not a lot recently. I tried calling her and texting her but I could never get  a reply. I have tried to get a long with my moms new 'better man' but I only think about them kissing and hugging on each other. 

A few moments later Leem pulled up and told me to get in, we drove about twenty minutes until we came face to face with a building that has the word 'gym' on the top of it. I looked at Leem and then looked back at the building, confused as ever. The first thing that I was thinking was why am I here? Is my father in there? And why am I here? Leem just got out of the car and opened my door for me and I got out.

We ended up in an office and a guy came in, Leem introduced me and himself before sitting down. They talked for a minute I was listening but not a lot because I was still trying to figure out why I was still here. My mind was so in the gutter that I just wanted to to leave. Guess what tho? We left with in five minutes and now I'm back home. He has a lot of explaining to do, you just don't know how confused I was.

"Leem what was that all about, and don't give me no crap."

Leem sat down and began to talk.......

"Well it's about your father, he wanted you to know that his 'vacation' will be more days then expected." He looked at me with caution. I just don't understand, this is crazy. 

"OK, for how long do I have to wait? How many days?"

"Like a whole year." He then move far away from me and kept calling my name softly like you would do when talking to an animal that you are scared of. I looked at him, and looked away like more then ten times then I finally said something.

"Get my dad on the phone." With out question he dialed the number that it began to ring.

"Hello Leem did you tell my Daughter the situation?"

"Yes he told me dad but why do I have to wait a whole year to see you when you are only a bridge away from me?"

"Well sweet heart.....umm....... It is a long story and I bet you need some sleep."

"No Dad I just woke up like an hour ago, just tell me why you are staying there so long. I have time and I'm sure you have time to make for me too." He was silent for a minute and then started to speak.

"OK. Fine you want to know, I found a new woman and I have fallen in love with her. Are you happy or no?"

"Yes father I am happy, you could have just told me, listen I don't care if you had to tell me you were gay. The whole point is that I miss you and I want to just see you. Can I face time you please at least? I want to make sure you are ok."

That night Leem, me, and my dad were on face time for more then three hours.
