I walked up to Thomas. "Hey Thomas, can we...talk?" I said shakily. "Sorry hot stuff, I gotta go to class! Catch ya later!" He said jostling with his friends. I stood in the hallway like the only person in the world. Thomas was a jerk and until Niall came around this morning, I hadn't seen it. I won't be disappointed to see him go but the consequences might make me regret it. 'Just remember, after Sarah and Thomas broke up, I got with him. But Sarah ditched me because I was a terrible friend. Maybe if I break up with Thomas, Sarah and I could start over...and I could help her get over her depression.' After wrapping up my thoughts and regathered myself, I walked to class and finished the school day. ••• "Thomas." I grabbed his arm as we walked home together. "What babe? You seem on edge." "Thomas..." I began. He looked down at me with a death state like he knew what was coming. And he did. "If you're planning on breaking up with me..." I cut him off. "Yes I'm breaking up with you. You have been such a jerk, you made me loose my best friend..." At that point, I couldn't hold back anything. I let it all go. "I guess this is it." I finished as I stormed away from him. He didn't said anything till I was at my front porch. "You'll regret this, y/n. Forever." I looked away and unlocked the door. 'What did I just do?' I questioned myself as I headed up to my room. An hour had passed and my phone stared ringing. It was Niall. Reluctantly, I answered. "Hey...look oh your window!" He said. I could hear the smile on his face and it made me smirk a little. I walked to the window to see Niall on the sidewalk with a pink rose. I ran outside to see him. "What's this for?" I questioned. "You seemed upset today. I wanted to know if you were ok." I smiled. Everything that had happened today seemed I melt away. "It's beautiful." "I'm glad you like it." Niall loudly whispered. I laughed at his joking manner. "Why, isn't that sweet! Looks like she just bounces from one boyfriend to another, don't you, y/n?" I whip around to face Thomas. And then I knew. This was the beginning of a horrible high school year.
