(Y/n)'s POV

I literally just stared at them. They looked so similar that they could dress up in each other's clothes and could pass off as each other. The girl was wearing a really cute magenta sweater with a shooting star on it. It was really oversized too. She was also wearing a magenta headband, with a purple skirt and black flats with ankle socks. The boy was wearing.... shorter than normal shorts, with an orange t-shirt and a navy blue vest on top. He was also wearing a ragged hat with a dull star on the front. As they walked up to Stan I kind of stared..... They looked like Siamese twins and it started to creep me out. Suddenly Grunkle Stan  just kind of... noogied both of them and said "KIDS!!!! I'VE BEEN WAITING!!" "Uhm..... Grunkle Stan that sounds creepy." The girl said. "Yeah it does." The boy agreed. I giggled at him when he said "it" because his voice cracked REALLY badly. It was kind of hard not to laugh. Then he just glanced up at me and looked back at Stan. "Ah, kids, this is (Y/n). She's my best customer and she comes everyday." Stan said happily. "Oh ok cool. Hi I'm Dipper and this is my sister, Mabel." Dipper introduced. "Hi." I replied. "OH MY GOSH YOU DON'T HAVE A SWEATER DO YOU!?! I AM SO GONNA KNIT YOU ONE!!!!" Mabel yelled. "Erm.....Ok..? Thanks...." I said, really weirded out. "Sorry... she gets excited like that.... a lot. So if you're gonna visit The Shack regularly, you might as well get used to it." Dipper said. I was interested in his name. How do you get a name like that? Dipper? I'd never heard of it before. "Anyway you kids go upstairs and get settled in. (Y/n), go help em." Stan said nonchalantly. "What?!? I'm not one of your kids!!! And I'm not even related to you!" I screeched. "Well of course your not related to me, but I gave you 50% off on all of the items, and I can take it away at any second!" He scolded "Fiiiiiiinnneeeeee." I replied. That's so dumb! That cheesy stuff sounds like something you'd read out of a book because the author couldn't think of anything else! But I agreed to help, so I followed Dipper and Mabel upstairs, into the attic. "Uh.... it's kind of dusty up here..." I said, wiping one of my fingers on a nearby shelf, looking at the dust on it. "Yeah.. but I guess it'll be fine." Dipper spoke. "AHH DIPPER THERE'S AN ADORABLE GOAT ON YOUR BED!!!" Mabel announced, and by the volume, it sounds like something out of an air horn. After Mable had her freak out, we decided to unpack.

When we finished unpacking, we all headed down stairs and went looking for Grunkle Stan.
"Where'd Grunkle Stan go?" I questioned. "Grunkle? Wait, are we cousins or something?!" Mabel inquired. "Huh? O-oh, no we're not, but I come here so much, it's like Stan's an unkle to me." I replied. "(Y/n), why do you come here so much?" Dipper queried.
I kind of wanted to tell him that it was an easy way to get away from my dad, but I didn't want to bother him with my problems. I'd been feeling really sad because of my parent's divorce, but I suppose it's good that he goes away, and it gives mommy a chance to find a new husband. So, instead I told him "It's kind of cozy, and it's fun to see what Stan sells everyday." I half-lied. I do like to see what Stan sells everyday, but it wasn't really that true. And it certainly was NOT cozy. It was always hot, dry and dusty. Soon we decided it'd be fun to explore the woods. And I was getting bored so why not? We told Grunkle Stan where we decided to go, and like the very not responsible man he is, he just let us go. As we were walking in the woods, Dipper saw a really weird looking tree. He started running towards it. And suddenly tripped and fell! He smacked his head on the tree, which made a weird, metallic noise. "Dipper!!" Mabel exclaimed while running to him. "Dips, you ok?" I asked nonchalantly. "Since when is my name Dips." He asked. Well I think he asked. He said it like a.... declaration. After about 15 minutes, Dipper finally recovered and went looking for the weird sound. It was kind of funny. He was like a cat looking for a mouse. And it was... oddly cute. He was looking really hard, and it was really funny because he kept circling around a tree, with his hand on it. Finally he said "I give up." And smacked his hand on the tree he'd been previously circling around. And sure enough, there was that metallic sound once more. "The... The tree?! It's made of metal?!" He asked, sounding quite annoyed. Then he wiped off some dust, and it revealed a little bit of metal, which looked like a door. "Look... it's a... door? Someone find a button or a key or something! I wanna see what's in it!!" Abruptly, we all began looking for a button or key. It was easy because the woods were not windy, and they were cool. The sun wasn't too bright either. I walked around the tree once more, and I was looking at the pile of rocks at the base of it. They looked really weird so I called Mabel and Dipper to come look at them. "They're so flat it looks like they're from a video game or something. Do you think one of them is a button?" I asked. And I started walking on all of them. Suddenly one started sinking! "I guess they where buttons!" I said excitedly. Dipper ran around to the back of the tree and watched slowly as the door opened and revealed a book, with a gold, six fingered hand, with a 1 on top of the hand.

Heehee sorry to leave you on a cliff hanger but... you'll have to live until Saturday! Hopefully I won't procrastinate as much as I did on this part, but if I do then.... Thanks for reading!
