She got a call that night at exactly 11:17am; but with the third day of school approaching she chose to ignore it and sleep. All of a sudden, she heard a woman yell: " keep going, she won't be getting on the bus today" immediately she realized it was morning and her mom had been yelling at the bus. " what is she doing!!!" Emma said amongst herself. It's the third day of school! I can't freaking miss it! Emma thought. She immediately ran to her moms room " why did you do that! What happened" Emma cried. " sit down" her mother replied with a worried tone. Her mom gave her a serious look now Emma KNEW something was going on.... and it was bad. "NO,NO " Emma said backing up worried. " Emma, sit down please!" Her mom said. Emma sat ale ready worried. " your dad passed away last night.." Emma froze: she couldn't believe it. She didn't know how to feel. She started sobbing and her mom leaned in and hugged her. Emma was confused, she began shaking. "I have to call your sister back she's taking this hard too" Emma nodded and went to the bathroom next door to her moms room. She couldn't look at herself. She practically hid from the mirror. Still shaking, she picked up a box of tissues And wiped her eyes. Little did she know it would get so much worse...
