Episode 27: Channel vs. Channel

"This is Channel D!D!D!" Escargoon's voice came out from all the television in Cappy Town. "And tonight, we present to you, 'Dedede the Musical'!"

On a stage, light slowly shined up on Dedede, who was holding a bouquet of roses with a microphone inside, and was making a creepy face as he tried to make a seductive face. "Oh~ girl~ you know I wanchu~" He was singing off-key. His singing was so bad that everyone in Cappy Town who were watching it started to cringe, and some even turned the TV off.

Escargoon and Waddle Doo was looking at the screens as people were suffering and turning their television off. "Oh, man, this is getting bad," Escargoon said as he watched the cappies turning off their TV.

"At this rate, no one will watch TV, sir Escargoon," Waddle Doo said.

"Only if his majesty knew what he was doing," Escargoon sighed as he had his eyes on Dedede, who was still singing off-key, still singing, thinking he's the best singer in the world.

"Hey..." the mysterious person from the other parts of Planet Popstar said. "This channel looks like a great channel to hack."

"I agree..." the other mysterious person said to the other. "It's so dull, and they're pretty inexperienced. 

"We haven't done hacking for a while... wanna give this a try?" the first person asked.

"Hahaha... yes..." the second person replied.

The next day came. Dedede wanted to film 'Dedede the Musical part 2'. Escargoon and Waddle Doo groaned. "Sir, is there any way we can stop him from doing this?" Waddle Doo asked, with much motivation to complain. "This is so dumb..."

"We must do what he wants to do," Escargoon sadly replied.

"I feel bad for me and Waddle Dees," Waddle Doo said.

"Hey! I'm having the most job here!" Escargoon said.

"I'm pretty sure you're used to it," Waddle Doo said.

"Says who?!" Escargoon asked.

"Uh... I don't know," Waddle Doo replied.

"Yo! Escargoon! Waddle Doo!" Dedede called. Escargoon and Waddle Doo hates it when he calls. "Get ready! It's show time!"

"Yes, your majesty!" Escargoon answered. They both went into the studio to film. "All right, stand-by!" Escargoon said as he went to his director's seat. "Ready, action!" Waddle Dees turned on the cameras and had the film rolling. Dedede started to sing off key again. "I really wish that I was deaf..." Escargoon said as he felt sorry for his eardrums to listen to the most horrible singing voice in Dreamland, and probably in Planet Popstar.

Last night, Dedede ordered everyone to watch his show so everyone turned on the TV, only with earplug they bought yesterday.

"I predicted I needed this," Mabel said as she turned on the TV.

"Oh boy, this is good!" Kawasaki said.

"I'll just turn off my hearing aid," the mayor said.

"I don't have to worry about listening to his awful singing voice," Tiff said.

Everyone enjoyed the silence peacefully. Suddenly, channel DDD started to act very funky as it showed random cute cat videos that made everyone go awe. Waddle Doo quickly reported the scene. "Sir! Something's wrong with the channel!"

"Huh?" Escargoon asked.

"Look," Waddle Doo said as he showed what was being streamed right now.
