(Y/N)'s P.O.V.

I was packing my bags for the family trip to Hawaii when my mom walks in. I stop humming my favorite song and turn to look at her. "Hi mom! Ready for beaches and tans?" I joke knowing my mother burns easy in the sun. She gives a dry laugh and clears her throat. "Sweetheart..." I knew that tone of voice. My smile instantly fades. "We're not going are we?..." She shakes her head and gave me an apologetic look. "Your father has to work, a new project just came up and I need to stay here with him." I tilt my head. "So I can still go?!" She sighs and shakes her head. "No, but I did manage to enroll you in a summer camp." She says smiling. I was at a loss for words. A summer camp?! She has to be kidding!

"You're kidding right?"

She shakes her head yet again. I groan and lay back on my bed. "Please don't make me go mom." I look at her pleadingly. All she did to answer was zip up my suitcase and pick it up. "We leave at five tomorrow morning. Get some sleep." And with that she left my room with my packed clothes meant for Hawaii. I couldn't believe this. She knows I'm not a social person! How am I going to survive a camp full of strangers?! I quickly went over to my laptop and logged in. Instantly I clicked on the chat site I always went to. I sigh in relief seeing my only friend is online. I request a chat with them and they accept.

(Y/N): Hey, you'll never guess what my parents did.

Mika: What?

(Y/N): They're making me go to a stupid summer camp! With actual people!

Mika: And this is a bad thing because?...

(Y/N): NO WIFI!!! I won't be able to talk to you...

Mika: I'm truly touched, but maybe this wouldn't be so bad for you, fresh air is healthy you know.

(Y/N): Ugh...you'd better be happy your my friend or I would block you.

Mika: Aw, thanks.

(Y/N): Well I should get to bed. I'll message you tomorrow before I leave if I can, k?

Mika: OK, good luck at camp. Goodnight.

(Y/N): Goodnight...

I read the little note that pops up when the person you are talking with logs off before logging off myself. One day I will find this person and marry them. One day Mika...one day...

But until then...this is going to be a long, long summer...
