Our Risky Choice

Chapter 23

We got back to the apartment. We got changed and went to bed and relaxed. I was in Riven's arms. We were cuddling. This was nice. I would love this forever. I hope this would last forever. I then started to fall asleep in his arms.

It has been a while since that day happened. Today is the day we get back to real live. We are starting our jobs and everything again. I am scared because Riven doesn't really know what I do. I hope he is okay with my choice of career.

"Morning beautiful." Riven said coming out of the bathroom. He was dressed in his uniform.

"Morning handsome." I told him. I was checking him out. He really looks good in his uniform.

"Like what you see?" He asked me. I must have been staring a little bit too long. He must have caught me.

"Oh yeah." I told him.

"You look amazing yourself." He told me.

"Aren't you a sweet talker." I told him.

"So, you ready for this?" He asked me.

"Yeah. I kind of am. I miss it. But I have to tell you something about my job." I told him.

"What is it?" He asked me.

"I am an unknown artist that plays at pubs and everything. I am trying to get signed like my mom did. But I want to be signed by someone for Melody." I told him truthfully. I hope he understands and accepts it.

"Okay. I support you. You have to follow your dreams. Don't worry I will be support us now. Then when you get signed you can support us later." He told me jokingly.

"Deal. And thanks." I told him.

"No problem. We have to support each other or this will never work out how we want it." He told me.

We then sat down and had breakfast. He then left to meet up with his partner at the ship. The ship was picking him up on Melody. I then grabbed my things and headed to my favorite café I play at in the morning. I am ready to start again and try my everything. I have new stuff to play.
