All the lights are opened. I guess that those visitors could fill our house. I barely don't want to see anyone right now but who knows, I might enjoy later being a brat to every visitor she introduces me to. Every. Single. Time.

I stepped out of the car, went straight ahead to our back door and went to my secret stairs until I reached my room. It was a secret door that I built during summer with nanny so that I could sneak inside without parents knowing.

I went inside my room, changed clothes for our party here in this house as what my mom told me to do so. This time, i'm wearing what I want to wear. Don't mind if she scolds me or anything.

I wore a flowy red dress and a black bomber jacket. My shoes were red stilettos, a pearl necklace and a fuchsia lip. My mom doesn't want me to wear a red one, fuchsia won't hurt.

My mom knocks at the door and waiting for me to show up to their guests.

"I'll be there in a minute" I pleaded

"You better be young lady, i'll be watching you downstairs" oh my mom, trust issues, tsk tsk.

A minute or two I opened the door of my room and walked until I reached the stairs of our house walking down. Guests were looking straight ahead and they were completely shocked and smiles surrounding at my face, of course, I smiled back.

"Hey mom"

"Oh young lady, where'd you get that lippie?"

"I bought it mom, you wouldn't even consider if I buy the red one"

"Good, now stay close and follow me"

I walked in between guests facing right at me, smiling and greeting. This is too much to take. Ugh. It sucks everytime.

In the middle of the night, my mom has the guts to clink her glass with champagne for further announcements. This is the most embarassing part she does, everytime. I wonder how guests were still entertained listening on what she says.

If it wasn't all about me, she would talk about her business, dad, dad's business. Countries, plans, goals, and stuff that controls my life. Fuck that.

"I'm calling the attention of everybody here celebrating my daughter's graduation, I would like to thank everybody for coming tonight. Tonight's event is the last event that you'll be seeing my daughter, Annabeth. She's moving to the Philippines next school year. Also, considering, she is with Ms. Laureen Zuela to take care of her while me and my husband will be preparing transactions on our business that would be all and enjoy the rest of the night. Cheers to all of you."

"Cheers" everybody responded back

While everybody went back to normal. I was still wondering who would that Laureen Zuela be. She's new to my ears yet it sounds so comforting, weird aye?

"Mom"

"Yes sweety?"

"Who's Laureen Zuela?"

"Ohh" she giggles. "It's your nanny sweety, who else would it be?"

"Laureen Zuela is my nanny? How come? She's Luz right?"

"Sweety, you didn't bother to ask your nanny's full name? She works here, stays with you yet you wouldn't knew if I haven't told you?"

"I was asking her name before, her full one, but she ignored me and told me to not ask that to her"

"Oh really sweety? Well, maybe she's just shy to tell you"

"Mom, there's something with her name, it's sounds weird to my ears"

"Maybe your just used to hear her name as Luz"

"No mom, something bothers me with it. I don't know, but I hope I could find out soon"

"Well Beth. It's just your fancy imagination. Nothing to worry about that, come. I would like you to meet someone"

I followed my mom until we reached to the living room while she considered 'important guests' were here. Unknowingly, these are from the Philippines.

"Good evening to all of you, I would like you to meet my daughter, Annabeth. But you can call her Beth"

It's so shocking that my mom even told them to call me of her guests as 'Beth', maybe her visitors from the Philippines were so comforting and yet she doesn't want anything formal between her and her guests. Especially on my case.

"Oh hello there Beth, i'm tita Audrey. Siguro tinuruan ka pa rin ng mommy mo na mag-tagalog kahit nandito ka sa Nevada" she smiled so real yet so heart warming.

"Yes tita. Hindi lang naman po si mommy ang nag train sa'kin, mas lalo pa po si nanny Luz" I returned her warmth smile.

"Good to hear that hija, so kailan ka lilipat sa Philippines?"

"I'm not sure pa po eh, pero i'm hoping na malapit na, mukhang magiging komportable siguro ako doon knowing you guys are so heart warming and comfortable kausap, unlike the others" Good, you're improving Beth. Be nice and gentle.

"Beth, anak, stay nice and gentle. Nga pala, hindi lang si tita Audrey mo ang nandito."

"Ay oo nga pala hija. I would like you to meet my son, Geoff. He maybe kind of stubborn, pero mabait rin 'yan."

"Hey" Geoff scoffs and hands his hand to me.

"Hello" I also gave my hand. We shook hands right after when I felt something bulged between the two of us, an electric shock.

OUCH. More than an iron, there was also something that would shook me up. What do you call this? SPARKS? Ew.

"What was that?!" I surprisingly raised my voice.

"Oh, didn't see that coming haha!" He raised his hand showing an electric shock from his hand, a grounder.

THIS ASSHOLE IS IN TO MY NERVES, NAKAKAINIS! WHY WOULD HE DONE SO STUPID?! NO ONE DARES TO DO THAT TO ME. FUCK HIM OFF.
