Have you ever been suspicious of your neighbor? Two of your neighbors? Heck, maybe even all of them?

Well, that's how our main characters landed themselves on another planet about to be killed.

  But let's rewind a bit.

This started when Bens' friend Lilly, called him to ask if he had any ideas of fun things to do.

"Nope. Not unless you consider reading fun," Ben answers.

"What?!" Lilly exclaims, "Heck no! I wanna do something actually interesting! Like... uh..."

She stops to consider her life optio-

  Nope. Not going there.

She stops to actually think about something interesting to do. Looking out her window she spots the neighborhood weirdos' house.

  Paul.

This guy was weird. He was on vacation constantly, when he was in town he didn't talk to anyone, and sometimes, if you listened real close at night, you could hear the occasional rumble from his house.

So, of course, it was a challenge among all the kids living in the neighborhood to go in his house and mess around.

Thinking on this Lilly remembers that her and Ben haven't entered the house. She realizes this is a problem.

The thing is, going into Pauls' house is nearly a tradition for all the kids on the block. If you did not enter by the age of thirteen, you were cursed.

In other words, made fun of the rest of your life.

"Well, you know what? We haven't gone into Paul's house yet, and we're 12! I mean, do you want to be made fun of the rest of your life?" Lilly asks Ben.

"No, but I'd rather be made fun of than die or go insane!" Ben shoots back, completely serious.

"Ben, please. You know you gotta enter in pairs, and pretty much everyone else has already gone in," Lilly pleads.

  "No."

  "Yes."

  "No."

  "No."

"Yes. Wait, what? Shit! I meant no!" Ben sputters, trying to save himself.

"Ah, ah, ah! We're going in Pauls' house, you pretty much said it yourself," Lilly fires back, feeling pretty damn smug of herself.

"Sigh, I say, sigh," Ben says, giving up.

"Why'd you give up already?" Lilly questions, honestly confused.

"Because I know that you won't let it go, and I've learned that it's best for my health if I don't try to argue with someone as stubborn as you..."

"Oh. Well, whadda say... we go in... tonight?"

"What? No, that's not enough time to prepare, or pack, or say goodbye to loved ones, or-" Ben rambles, but is cut off by Lilly saying,"Ben. Calm. The. Flip. Down."

Lilly continues with,"Since you're so worried about it, we'll go the night after tomorrow then."

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, but don't 100% count on me to be there," Ben says back, quite tired from talking nearly all night, "Well, I'm tired from staying up pretty much all night, so I'm gonna go to bed."

"Yeah, me too. Good night, Ben."

  "Night, Lilly."

A/n: So, uh, yeah. I've been inactive for... a year maybe? Idk but I'm hungry and there's a pancake infront of me so... bye!
