Your POV
It was night, and I was at my favorite club, called the Night Rose. I was waiting for my best friend, Jungkook to show up. Even though he was a year older, I still called him my cute baby because he acted like a shy child most of the time. I was excited to show him what you edited. Peeking around the corner I spotted him coming up, I ran up to him, "Jungkook," looking up at him I smiled, "how are you?"
He looked down at you, "I'm okay, you ready to go in?" He hated clubs but didn't trust people to leave me alone, he came along to protect me.
"Not yet," still smiling, I showed him my edit. His eyes light up and then dull just as quickly. "It's great," he looks away.
I gently pull his chin so he looks at me again, "hey, what's wrong?"
"Have you ever loved someone, but your scared of saying something because they are your friend?" I nod thinking of his crush of three years, Ginger, and frown. Last I checked they weren't friends, Kookie was too shy, "yes," I said after a moment, I thought of Jungkook, "I do."
"What do you do about it?" He asked quietly.
"I don't know," I answered honestly.
"Okay," he sighs.
We then walk into the club and have fun dancing together. At the end of the night, around midnight, I said I wanted to go home and walked out, knowing Jungkook would follow me. When we got outside the club, Jungkook stopped, "wait," he turned me around to face him, "you remember what I asked you earlier?" He asks. I nod. "I know what I can do about it," he looks nervous.
"And that is?" You ask looking down.
Gently he puts his hand under my chin and lifts my head up to look at him, "don't move," he whispers. He kissed me but just as suddenly as it started he broke it off, and turned and quickly walked away. I have to jog to keep up with him, "Kookie," I struggled to say, "what was that?"
He turns around suddenly, causing me to run into him. "I love you, y/n, I have since we met"
"But what about Ginger?" My voice trembles slightly.
"I figured if you thought I liked her then you wouldn't realize that I loved you."
"YOU WAITED UNTIL SENIOR YEAR TO TELL ME THIS????" I suddenly yelled.
He looks sheepishly down, "yea"
I walk up to him and playfully hit him, "I'm offended, you should have told me immediately" I joke.
"I guess I was afraid you would say you didn't like me back."
"Nope I totally haven't loved you since we were five" I snap sarcastically.
"What?" He looks at you surprised.
I felt surprised at myself, "You heard me," I said only because I couldn't repeat it.
"You waited until senior year to tell me this?" He repeated sarcastically.
I bury my head in my hands, embarrassed.
"Hey, hey, I was only kidding," he gently pulled my hands away from my face. I looked away, and he stepped in front of where I was looking, I looked the other way, and he did the same thing. Finally I gave up and looked at him, "yes?" I sighed.
"I have a question for you," he paused for dramatic effect, "will you go out with me?" He looks nervous like I'll say no. Teasing I looked up at him through my lashes, "I'm sorry, but yes!" I laughed.
He grinned excitedly, and said "okay, tomorrow at 5 I'll pick you up."
"Where are we going?"
"You'll see," he laughed, "come on let's go home"
