Fleck finished his work. He watched his teacher meticulously clean his bloody mouth and hands. Sanguis noticed him after a few seconds.
"Do your work, Flick-Fleck o' Grey."
"Please don't call me Flick." Beta called him Flick, and the name terrified him.
"Okay."
🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇
Why did being called Flick scare him so much? He had flinched. It only gave Pani Sanguis more reason to think that Beta Blade was abusing Fleck. Another thing that bothered him was that Fleck had refused to meet his eyes when they talked about Beta. Pani cared about his students but- "That's the bell, Fleck." He said, as it rang. Fleck hurriedly ran to his next class.
🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺
Fleck had almost made it to his class when he was roughly thrown against his own locker.
"Well, well, well, look who we have here." Well, well, well, it's the walking-talking cliche with a weird ass human name.
         "Fuck you."
  "Oh look, the fur-fag talks."
      "Shut up."
"Make me."
"Leave me alone." Fleck made a move to get out of Gregory's grip.
"Where"Gregory punched him. "Do" Punch. "You"Punch. "Think" Punch. "You're" Punch. "Going?" Fleck clutched his broken nose, leaving his stomach open to attack.  And Gregory attacked. Fleck felt something twist inside of him. He wanted to break so desperately. He wanted to cry or fight back, but he knew that if he did, they would call Beta. Beta would no doubt punish him for making him come up here twice in one day. So, he just took the abuse, hoping Gregory would leave him alone. Gregory left him just as the late bell rang. Fleck hurried into his third block dripping blood. Ms. Farnell gasped when she saw him.
"Fleck go to the nurse, I'm calling your assistant principal!"
"Mam, t-t-that's really not necessary." He tried.
"Not necessary?! Fleck, your nose is broken!" Fleck flinched at the sudden volume increase.
"Go!" Fleck relented, walking down the long hallway. His fear grew with every footstep. The principal would call Beta. Beta would be pissed. Beta would hurt him. Oh god, what if Beta killed him? Or something even worse?! He knocked on the plain door.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
"Snaka, I am lucky to have thee as a friend." Snaka smiled thinly.
"However, I must inquire about something close to my heart." Snaka seemed surprised.
     "Yes, darling Pio?"
"How to express my utmost adoration to a woman as beautiful as the night sky." Snaka blinked.
"And pray tell, whom is this woman whom hast captured the heart of a goddess?"
"Snaka! I came to thee for advice, not to be mocked!" Piothia fumed.
"If you truly love this woman, give her gifts to show how much you love her. Or you could write her a love letter."
        "A letter?"
"Human women love romance." Piothia blushed.
"How did thee know she was a human?"
"I am the god of fortune. Lucky guess." Piothia kissed Snaka's cheek, a common gesture of friendship among gods. Snaka felt the cheek where her friend kissed her tenderly.

Pioth woke up cold. Who was Snaka? Ve shook vis head. Gae, and Skye were gone. Ve could smell meat sizzling.
"Mmmm." Ve purred, and got up to see Gae and Skye.

They saw land.
"I got it from here, thanks, Koh-Hick!" She nodded and swam back to her pod. He twisted back into his human form and swam onto the beach amid the humans who looked at him like he was crazy. He looked around, and went  up to a woman wearing a yellow dress.
      "Is this America?" She laughed.
"Yupidoodle! How long have you been out in this heat? I-is that wool?" Willope looked down at himself.
"No, its cotton." She laughed again.
   "So, watch'a doing here?"
"I'm looking for my sister, Piothia. She's escaped."  The woman raised an eyebrow.
    "How old is she?"
"She's about to be eighteen." Thousand.
"I think she can take care of herself."
"It's not her I'm worried about."
       "What do you mean?"
"She killed Aveen."
"Oh shit. Can't the police do anything?"
"The police?"
"You don't know what the police is?"
"No?"
"Sit down and listen the fuck up." Amused, Willope sat down. He liked humans, because they were funny and unpredictable. Especially his dear Aveen.
