SHE THOUGHT EVERYTHING WAS OVER.

She thought life didn't matter anymore. She began to not care about anything. Her grades went from all A's into C's. She lost interest in school. She lost interest in sports especially football. She thought that no one cared for her anymore.

All her childhood friends: Violet, Patty and Frieda changed. They went on being her best friends— into her enemies. They hated her and she hated them back. The girls would always try to make Lucy look bad by tripping her and spilling food on her for example.

She preferred to work alone when group projects were announced. She was a little quiet near the end of middle school. She is even quieter now in the ninth grade. When she speaks, it's like she's a kid again. That crabby, mean kid when she was in elementary school.

Her black hair curls at her ends, with her brown chocolate eyes that you can get lost into them. Her skin like a white feather, so soft you want to touch her.

When she smiles it's like you're in heaven. Of course, when she smiles it's rare. She wears a blue dress that has very small flower prints and her black and white shoes.

She still had a crush on Schroeder. Schroeder still loved Beethoven and playing the piano. Lucy stopped visiting him in the eighth grade.

Schroder didn't care until he realized how he missed seeing Lucy sitting next to him on the tiny piano bench, blabbering about how she and him will get married. He missed her watching him the keys. She just left. Just like that. Without a word.

"Lucy." he whispered one day realizing how much he needed her to be at his house.

"What happened to you... to us." He thought. He knew exactly what happened to her...
