HE WANTS TO TALK.

Since when?

Since when did he cared about me?

All these thoughts ran through my mind.

Our conversation kept repeating in my mind the following classes.

I couldn't stop thinking about it. I couldn't. Suddenly, I was distracted.

All the noise around me disappeared. I was like in my own little world.

For the first time in forever, I wanted it to be after school. I never talked about my problems to anyone.

Not even Linus.

I know you're thinking why haven't I told my problems to anyone... not even Linus. I mean Linus is the voice of the neighborhood.

He's really helpful and understands your problems.

But I couldn't tell him.

Not anyone.

And here I am about to tell Schroeder what's been happening with my life..

Some hours later...

—[*RING*]—

School's over now. Which means it's time to meet up with Schroeder.

I quickly go to my locker to grab my stuff to go home. I spontaneously run out of the building and start to walk over to Schroeder's house.

I was nervous. I hope he isn't going to leave me.  No, he will leave me. Why think he's going to be your friend? Why am I going to his house?

Maybe I should go home instead...

"Look at who we have here..."

Violet.

"Go away Violet. I don't have time for this!"

Of course she wasn't alone. Patty, Frieda and Heather were with her.

Violet snorted, crossing her arms with a smirk.

"Why are walking to Schroeder's house?" She asked.

"That's none of your business."

"But it is."

"But it isn't. It's between me and Schroeder. Period."

Violet chuckled. "Oh you wish."

Suddenly, Patty and Frieda tackled me to the ground. Patty grabbed my backpack and began hitting me with my backpack.

I used my hands to cover my face.

"Die you faggot!"
