Soooo, this may or may not be a little bit cheesy, but it's some more fluff and I hope you enjoy.

Also, this photo kind of inspired this little one-shot. Thank you so much for reading & lemme know what you think!

A loud thud from the kitchen echoed throughout the house, causing you to jolt up from your slumber.

"Aw fuck!"

You rubbed your eyes and swung your legs out of bed, glancing at the clock that read 6:18AM, while your feet began looking for the slippers that you left beside your nightstand every night. You pulled yourself up and made your way to the kitchen. You leaned against the doorway, all the while your hand was covering your mouth, making your best effort to hold back laughter. Your boyfriend, Will, was an early bird. Considering he had to commute to Baltimore every morning to get to class at the FBI Academy, it had become routine for him to be up this early, even on his days off. You sometimes had to force him to sleep in on those days. You continued to watch your clumsy boyfriend gather small pieces of ceramic from a ceramic mug, presumably what he had dropped that had woken you up. You eventually stepped into the kitchen, squatting down to the ground beside him and began collecting pieces of the broken mug yourself. There was a small pool of coffee everywhere. He looked over his shoulder at you, at first slightly surprised to see you awake, then began shaking his head.

"Goddamn clutz" he mumbled, clearly poking fun at himself. You smiled tiredly, stopped him from cleaning and took the broken pieces out of his hand before getting up and walking to the trash bin that was tucked under the sink. You dumped your handfuls of ceramic shards into the bin and grabbed a cloth from the sink spout, kneeling back down beside Will, who was still collecting the last bits of broken pieces. You dabbed the spilt coffee up and went to rinse out the cloth, when Will had gotten up and grabbed your waist from behind. You were standing at the sink, but he turned you around to face him. He looked drained, but that wasn't anything out of the ordinary for him before he had his morning coffee. He had his hands placed on your waist still, a gentle but firm grip. You put your hands on either side of his scruffy face and stood on your toes to press a soft kiss on his lips.

"Good morning, clutz" you smiled. Will smiled back, running one of his hands up the back of your shirt and resting it on your lower back. His hands were warm in contrast with your cold body temperature, which gave you subtle goosebumps. He was wearing his glasses, a nice plaid dress shirt and his tie was already on. You rarely got to see him before he left for work, so you took a moment to appreciate how handsome he looked. You placed a hand on his chest and bit your lip, carefully looking him up and down, clearly observing his appearance. He rolled his eyes jokingly and chuckled. His laugh never failed to make your heart melt.

He leaned into your ear and spoke softly, "are you checking me out, Y/N?".

You pushed him away playfully and laughed, "oh get real, Will".

He smirked and pulled you back in by the waist again. You wrapped your arms around his neck and rested your head against his chest. He held you there for what felt like hours, but was really only a matter of minutes, before lifting your head up and kissing you again. You prolonged the kiss by continuously pulling him back, knowing that he had to leave soon. He wasn't complaining, but you felt that it was selfish of you because you really didn't want him to leave. The kiss eventually had to break and you grabbed him another cup of coffee for the road – despite it being a habit that you despised because he never brought his empty mugs from his car back into the house.

The two of you were at the front door, chatting for a minute while he got his coat on before he left. Will opened the door and stepped onto the porch, and before you could close the door behind him, he turned around and spoke again.

"I'm coming home and taking you out," he said.

Your heart fluttered in your chest like a caged butterfly as if it was the first time he had asked you out.

"Is that so?" you grinned.

"I'll see you when I get home," he added, his voice was sweet and calm. "I love you, Y/N".

"I love you too, Will".
