Who Are You & What Are You Doing In My Flat

It was three in the afternoon when Tom got the call. At first he couldn't believe it, was it a joke? All his life he grew up with his sisters and never knew there was another, and it was a brother! A twin! His twin! Why wasn't he told earlier?!

After the call he immediately started researching, looking for him. Loki was his name, he knew that much, but what he didn't know where he was located or if he even wanted to be found.

Turns out he didn't have to search much for Loki, because he found Tom. Of course, he didn't know that at the time.

Tom had just gotten home from shooting the movie he was working on. He was tired, the other actor -Benedict Cumberbatch- had kept messing up the dance scene by being "too serious and not graceful enough" (even though he was perfect; the choreographer just didn't like him, which Tom never understood because he was a wonderful man and excellent dancer) so they had to keep redoing it. He enjoyed what he did though, and he wouldn't change it for anything. He especially enjoyed working with Ben, he was such a nice guy and a gentleman much like Tom. They were basically best friends, they hung out on their free days mostly. Ben had told Tom to get some sleep because he hadn't the night before while he stayed behind and worked on the part. Even though Tom insisted on staying, Ben would not have it. He said-and Tom quotes- "If you don't get your ass off this set within the next five minutes I will throw you over my shoulder, carry you to your car, set you in the seat, buckle you, turn on your car, and duct tape your foot to the accelerator." Tom didn't want there to be accidents, but Benedict did end up throwing Tom over his shoulder and carrying him to his car, both laughing the whole time.

Tom tossed his keys on the small side table that sat by the door and walked down the narrow hallway that led to the living room. Tom immediately turned left to the staircase that led up to the bathroom and his room.

In his room, he changed into more comfortable clothes, a black tee and grey sweatpants. He started to come out of his room when he heard a noise downstairs. He paused, going back into his room and coming out with a bat, going slowly down the stairs, avoiding the creaking steps.

He got to the last step, took a deep breath, and grabbed the bat more tightly. He stepped out where he could be seen, eyes scanning the room. They stopped on his couch, where a man was sitting with perfect posture.

"Who are you and why are you in my flat?!" Tom yelled, preparing to swing. The man jumped, and screamed, holding his hands in surrender. Tom screamed back which made the man scream again.

This went on for five minutes.

"Let me explain! Tom, let me explain!" the man said finally.

Tom motioned to the couch where the man sat again. Tom put the bat down, but stood in front of the him.

"Who are you?" he asked, arms crossed across his chest. He wasn't angry, just worried that maybe a fan found out where he was living for the time being.

"Loki Laufeyson," Loki said, looking Tom in the eyes. Loki... where had he heard that before?

"How'd you get in my flat?"

"I was given a key,"

"By who?"

"Our mother. Our actual mother. The woman you've lived with your whole life, the woman I've only just met." Loki said slowly, letting it sink in. Tom eyes widened. Loki. His brother. His twin. The one who was adopted.

"You... you're... him?" Tom asked, hands by his side as he stared at Loki. He nodded.

"My brother."
