7. Go Fish

Jacklynn's POV

"So wait, you have never gone ice scating?" Luke asked with wide eyes. We were at the hotel, Luke and I were in my room watching Friends and eating a large pizza together.

"Nope. Never." I said before taking another bite of pizza. It was pepperoni. "Well, we need to change that now don't we?" he said with a smile. "Maybe." I grinned.

We finished the pizza within an hour, completely stuffed. "What do you want to do now?" I asked, throwing my dirty napkin into the box. I myself was bored out of my mind and I could tell he was too. "We could watch TV or play cards?" He asked, holding out a deck of cards from his pocket.

"Cards." I replied, a large smile on my face. "Alright!" he smiled, "Where do you wanna play?" I shrugged, "The floor seems fine." Luckily, my room had soft carpet. He sat in front of the small couch as I quickly got my phone, checking the time. It was almost 10.

"What do you want to play?" he asked with a smile. "Go fish?" I asked innocently. I knew many games, living with a brother during summer with almost nothing but a few games and a deck of cards made us learn a lot of games, but I wanted to play go fish right now. It didn't take much brain power and it is fun.

Luke laughed, shaking his head. It was a heavenly laugh. "Sure." he smiled brightly. I smiled back, happy that he didn't want to play slap jack or war like my brother always did.

We played for what felt like hours, but in reality it was only two. And we were still playing.

I laid two cards down, and began to ask,  "I wonder why Niall hasn't came back y-" I was cut off by my door opening. Luke and it's heads both snapped to the door, making me roll my eyes. "Speak of the devil." I whispered to Luke who lightly laughed.

"Hi Niall!" I yelled as he walked in closer, looking down at his phone and tapping it furiously. He looked up when he heard his name. "Hey, Jacklynn-" he smiled "And Luke." he realised his presence after a second. "Hey." Luke grinned at him.

Niall ran a hand through his hair, stretching out his other arm. "Sorry I was so late, rehearsals took longer than expected and we got food after." he apologised. I shrugged, looking up at him. "It's fine." I grinned. "Luke kept me company."  I looked over at him to find out he was already smiling at me. I felt my cheeks heat up a little as I looked back at Niall. "Oh? What did you guys do while I was gone?" he asked suspiciously. I could tell in Hus voice he was hinting at something, and I could feel my cheeks heat even more than before in embarrassment of what he could be thinking.

"We just ate pizza and played cards and talked, nothing else." Luke told him. I made a mental note to thank him. If I was left to answer, I probably wouldn't have answered from embarrassment. Embarrassment of Niall thinking things like that. Which probably would have caused him to think we actually did- and that would have been a lot worse.

"Okie dokie." giving me a knowing smirk that he was, in fact, mocking me. "I'm going to go to bed. Night you two." he said, kissing my head. "Luke, you guys have rehearsals from nine to eleven tomorrow morning. And Ashton said he wants to talk to you about a new song." he told him as he walked away, backwards, to the door.

"Alright." Luke groaned, rolling his eyes. Niall laughed, making the noise bounce around my hotel room. His laugh was cut off when he ran into the corner next to the door. A loud laugh came from my mouth making my hand quickly go over it. Niall slightly winced, rubbing the back of his head. "Shit." I heard him nimble to himself.

"Harry and I are two rooms to the left if you need anything." he said before opening the door and walking out, shutting the door behind him.

Luke sighed, "Well it looks like it is time for me to leave." he grunted, standing up. I sadly nodded, standing up as well. "I'll see you in the morning, yeah?" He turned to me as he stood in front of the door. "Yeah." I agreed. "I'm the room across from you, you know, if you need anything." he chuckled, knowing he just copied my brother.

"Okay." I smiled.

He smiled back as he opened the door. "Night." he said , walking out the door. "Night." I said before the door shut.

Now time to make up for missed time..
