There is something more that hurts

More than the pain inside

The memories of you leaving me behind

Pushing me back more than once

Since I fell down in the dust

You left me behind as I started to rust

You let me down you pushed me around

You left me to drown you’ll never be proud

You chewed me up and spit me out

As if I was poison in your mouth

As if the whole time your mind was going south

I knew you would have chosen the one with the most wealth

I was clueless and stealth and I was also put down

To let you know you let me down

No time for cry I’ve got to stay strong

After all I’ve been waiting too long

To face this fear of being wrong

To me I can never walk along

Besides I always seem to hide

The clear tears that I used to cry

To sing you a lullaby

That was a start of the lie

You let me down you pushed me around

You left me to drown you’ll never be proud

You chewed me up and spit me out

As if I was poison in your mouth

As if the whole time your mind was going south

I knew you would have chosen the one with the most wealth

I was clueless and stealth and I was also put down

To let you know you let me down

You let me down …
