Virgils pov:
It had beem a while since the subconsious insident, roman and i hadnt talked since then. Logan would always try and get us to talk, saying 'itll be good for your relationship,' huh... we had one of those? I never thought we had one. His words thought that too, constantly he would tell me to fade back to my room. But now i have another place to hide. I opened a breach in a near by wall. And as soon as i steped foot on the forest floor, my fighting armour came back... and so did the nightmares, exept they attacked me. Razor sharp claws and fangs found their ways into my arms, stomach and chest. It all had a tingly sinsation... i couldnt feel the pain from it. Just pressure. Like someone had numbed me, so i shook them all of, and sliced them to shredds. It was stress releaving to be honest, slicing though thomas's nightmares. But eventualy i ran out of strength, and colapst to the floor. The nightmares swarmed me... when they left, i was what i felt like everyday: a beat down, pile of flesh. Nothing to live for, everything to die for. Maybe they didnt need me.
Romans pov;
OMFG WHERE IS VIRGIL?!?! I was trying to talk to him every time we ran into eachother but he just... poof... right as he apeared, he vanished. I wanted to tell him how i felt, about.... us. I knew how he felt. His putple auta made that VERY clear. He liked me, and i made him feel like shit. He was actualy considering fading... as if he wasnt needed. THOMAS NEEDS HIM! WE NEED HIM! i need him...
3rd pov:
The flowers at the mind palace were called 'love lilies', and they were wilting for the first time in thomas's life. Virgil was the cause... his love for roman was sour. It was a dream to him, something never ment to be... something he couldnt have. For roman, it was a hope. Something he wanted, he could make it happen... but hed haveto get to virgil for that. And virgil lay drowning in hordes of nightmares... And not just any nightmares, HIS nightmares. And this is why the lilies wilted... the love vigil had was bitter, and the love roman had was undieing. If only virgil could see, that he was loved back.
