Recap:

We all sat up for a little while wondering what happened with that girl when Gennie came out of the spare bedrooms main floor.

I stood up and asked the main question every one had been wondering.

"What the hell happened?"

I'm suprised ya'll didn't hear her screaming outside or in the bedroom for that matter. She said her mate and her had run off from thier pack to be together because her family didn't like him and when they tresspassed on to another packs territory they were ambushed and her mate was taken. She's terrified but she'll be fine Kacy's with her now."

"Kacy?"

"Yeah why?"

"Nothing."

We all looked at each other and then Kassidy said she had to go home because her father had come back in town and she wanted to visit him for a little while before he left again. It was the first tinme I noticed a bruise under her hair on the back of her neck after she quickly moved back in place. I'ma have to have a talk with Kaitlyn and Hayes tonight about that.

Adrian's P.O.V.

After Hayes walked Kassidy out I walked Kaitlyn upstairs. I wondered if he already knew about her bruises. I had to tell him. I wasn't going to pry in to their relationship but if something was going on I wanted to know. The Pack Laws doesn't allow the mate to be harmed at any costs and if I can help Kassidy I would.

When Hayes passed my door I yelled "Hayes!!"

He came back towards my my room and stuck his head in the door and said "Yes sir?" "Come on in, I need to talk to you."

Hayes came in the room and said "What about?" 'How about you sit down first, I'm sorry, I can't risk you harming Kaitlyn....even though you wouldn't.....but it is serious."

He scowled so I went on "Hayes have you ever noticed the bruises on Kassidy or noticed the fear in her eyes when she leave here?"

"Yeah, tonight was the second night I noticed the bruise on her stomach when she was changing, she's shy, but when she almost fell I had to help her and that's when I seen the bruise on her stomach. I growled and showed my canines, I didn't mean to scare her any but you know how we are when our mates get hurt."

I nodded in understanding. Kaitlyn squeezed my hand and I heard her whimper. I scowled and said "What's wrong?" "I-I feel horrible about all this." "Sweetheart, did Kassidy ever tell you?" Kaitlyn shook her head and tears were starting to fall. I leaned over and kissed her forehead then I pulled her in my lap.

I looked back at Hayes looking at the ground in concentration.

"Hey man, you all right?" His head snapped back up and then he shook his head.

"What's wrong with Hayes?" Kaitlyn asked.

I looked at him and he sighed.

"I'm just wondering why she didn't say anything to anyone, before she left, I tried to get her to stay here again, but all she said was *I-I can't." It's ripping my heart up, I want to go to her house and tear whoever is doing this to her apart but I don't know where she lives....Kaitlyn do you know where she lives, has she ever told you?"

My mate shook her head and said "No, she hasn't said much of her home life, I'm guessing she's scared too."

Hayes nodded and then said "Adrian do you think me and you could go on patrol for a little while? I just need to talk to you alone."

"Sure man, let me tuck her in and I'll be outside in a few." I answered.

Hayes nodded but before he reached the door he turned around said "Oh goodnight soon to be Mrs. Alpha Kaitlyn."

Kaitlyn blushed and said "Thanks Hayes and goodnight. Hopefully tomorrow after school I can get her to spill to me maybe."

Hayes says "Thank you."

After Hayes left I helped Kaitlyn get in her PJ's and laid her in my bed since I thought it would help er sleep with something with my scent on it.

When our lips met I felt the pull get stronger than before.

Kaitlyn said "I'll be fine. I need to sleep anyway. I love you."

I smiled and said "Ok. I love you too."

I left the room and headed downstairs to meet Hayes when I heard Wyatt yelling at Kacy. I sighed and went to see what the hell she had done now. God she was annoying as hell.

I went towards the room where the Rogue was healing at and found Wyatt had Kacy up against the wall yelling at her. Even though Kacy was a stuck up whore no lady should have a man's hands on her.

Man this was going to bite me in the ass later on.

"Wyatt, what the hell you doing?" I growled.

He dropped Kacy and as he dropped her she slid down the wall all the while trying to catch her breath then said "That bitch tried to tell the new chick that I was her mate and also tried to grab my crotch."

"New chick?"

Wyatt looked at me like I was stupid.

"Oh you mean the new Rogue?"

He sighed and then started mumbling and walked away. I shook my head and walked right past Kacy when she grabbed my ankle. I stopped and looked down at her pathetically.

"You know you want me, Adrian."

I laughed out loud at that. That was funny.

"Yeah right, I don't want you, I never have and I never will. So either let go or I'll make you let go."

She raised an eyebrow then said "Oh that sounds fun."

I sighed then bent down pulled her wrist off when she wrapped her other arm around my neck and tried to pull me close to her mouth. I gritted my teeth but she was going to have to learn the hard way.

I felt myself shift in my wolf form and I nipped her neck and I looked at her and growled. I said this in her mind with my ALPHA TONE:

"KACY YOU ARE NOT MY MATE, YOU WILL NEVER BE MY MATE SO BACK OFF AND LEAVE ME ALONE. IF I HAVE TO TELL YOU AGAIN YOU WILL IN MUCH MUCH WORSE CONDITION."

Kacy was crying and trying to move but I wouldn't let her she needed to be put in her place. It took a few minutes to sink in and Kacy just nodded. I stepped away and she scurried down the hallway. I huffed then shifted back to my human form.

When I walked past the Rogues room the lamp beside her bed was on but she was sleeping.

I nodded and walked outside and seen Hayes and Wyatt pacing back and forth.

They looked up and said at the time "WOW. You really put her in her place didn't ya?" I grinned and said "Hopefully, now she will leave me alone."

We all laughed at then shifted and went for a run with the moon shining brightly.

It was around 5:35 a.m. when we got back in from the run. Me and my wolf was in a great mood when we got back in our room. But it came crashing down when the Rogue was standing over Kaitlyn just watching her sleep.
