You were somewhere you won't supposed to be. You wandered off, found your way into a big establishment, and couldn't find the exit. And to make things even better, the place was closed. The few employees that were there had left while simultaneously failing to notice your presence. Though, you were strangely unbothered by this. Maybe it was because your parents kept you practically glued to them. Maybe it was because they never let you touch anything. Or perhaps it was because you were strangely void to the idea of something bad happening to you. Either way, you were more curious than anything else at the moment. The room you had found your way into was unlike other rooms you had been in. There were weird little faces sitting on some dusty drawers you decided to mess with. They made a bunch of weird noises when you poked at them, which entertained you for probably five seconds. You averted your attention to one of the two primary color decorated keypads instead. The two buttons on the keypad were had little symbols on them. The one had blue a sun on it, and the red one had a lightning bolt. The red one looked more interesting so you pushed it, causing electricity to illuminate the right window with a loud, resounding cracks. You jumped at the unexpected result of your action, curious as to what was in that room that needed electric shocks like that. You may have been young, but that was still kinda weird to you. It seemed really dangerous and probably really painful, so you decided to explore elsewhere instead.
You eventually found yourself in one of the showrooms. Like most of the other rooms it was an empty, dark abyss. Even the animatronics that presumably performed in there were gone. You wondered what happened to them. It was odd to that they were nowhere to be seen. They never really scared you or anything, but the way their faces opened up like a fucked up flower would never be something you liked, even if you tried to convince yourself you weren't' weirded out by it. It was unsettling the way their face plates shifted as they performed. Especially when you caught glimpses of the wiring underneath. You had never seen them in person, but they were in a lot of tv commercials. Actually, that was the reason you wandered in here. But the thought of them being scarier in person crossed your mind too.
You would have thought more about it, but your train of thought derailed when you saw something scurry across the room.
Oh boy.
You might not have panicked as hard as you did if much heavier footsteps didn't follow. Those footsteps sounded like they belonged to someone... or something that could cause you some serious bodily harm. Since that didn't really sound like a good time, you quickly hauled ass and scrambled under one of the tables.
The heavier footsteps eventually stopped, and more light footsteps followed. There was a lot whispering, but it stopped after a few minutes, followed by more footsteps. And then it went quiet. Verrrrrrry quiet. You thought for a moment that maybe you were safe, but then you realized they were b Y THE TABLE YOU WERE UNDER. Of course you weren't safe. That would just be too easy wouldn't it? So of course, whatever it was grabbed you by the arms, and you shrieked as you were pulled out from your hiding spot by two pairs of cold hands. You squirmed and tried to break free, but they wouldn't let go.
"Stop struggling!"
They sounded like children younger than you but they had the cold, death-like grip of a corpse. It didn't take long before you were fully pulled out. There were something resembling people leaning over you. The two things that pulled you out, and someone... or something else. You couldn't really tell. The lack of lighting was making it hard to make out what you were being confronted by. All that was visible was the glow of their eyes that were bright like flashlights. It was silent for what felt like far too long. You would've screamed but it felt like you couldn't even talk. It felt like you were in one of those horror movies you were far too young to watch but watched anyways. You were a total rebel child after all.
One of the sharp high pitched voices spoke again. "Why is there a kid in here?"
A much softer, lilted voice spoke. "I don't know, the place was supposed to be cleared out when we closed down."
"Well clearly they didn't do a good job."
"What do you want us to do with them Circus?"
Suddenly the things they were saying became white noise. What were they going to do with you? Oh jeez, what if they were gonna kill you? More panic flooded your system as that thought crossed your head. As the grip on your arms loosened slightly, you managed to finally break free, breaking into a sprint and not bothering to look back. The voices started call out to you but you didn't listen to them. You were too busy practically flying to one of the vents, and crawling as fast as you could, elbows and knees banged against the walls of the vent but you didn't care. You just wanted to get out of there.
You quickly scrambled out of the vent and crawled into a different one. The second one lead to somewhere you hadn't been before. At least, you were pretty sure you hadn't. It was hard to tell. This room was blanketed by darkness too. But this wasn't your average everyday darkness, this was... advanced darkness. The only light in the room shone dimly through the window of the control module, but you didn't feel safe near it. You decided to head further into the room to get away from it.
Your body was still shaking as you started to make your way through the abyss of darkness. It was dead silent aside from your light footsteps and ragged breathing. Well, that and the tinkling of a music box.
Wait...
You don't remember hearing that when you came in. You started to look around the room, eyes straining to see where the noise was coming from, but seeing darkness. The music slowly started to louder. It got louder, and louder, and louder, and louder, until you felt something come up behind you, and a woman's voice cut through the void.
"Oh dear, what are you doing in here?"
A scream escaped your lips as you tripped over your feet and hit the floor. You quickly tried to get up, running away trying to find another exit. Your hands grabbed something you were sure was a door handle. Turning it made a large, heavy door open with a loud squeaking sound. You quickly clambered in and slammed the door, backing away from it in fear of something coming in. You let out a few shaky breaths, feeling safe slighty safe again, but the air quickly left your lungs when you backed into something big and fuzzy. Your blood ran cold as you looked up into the face of a big white and purplish pink bear animatronic.
"H-HELLO THERE!"
You skreiked yet again. Trying to run, but not making it far before slamming into something and blacking out.
