Chapter 5

"Where exatilly are we going?" I asked. I leened out of the car window and let the wind push the losse hair out of my head. Air felt good, it's been a wile sence we've been out of that hotel room.

"Uhhhhh I don't know..." Cody said scratching the back of his head like he was very confused. He started to slow down the car a little but Yumi stopped him

"Keep going. We are headed to Cail." I turned around in my seat quickly and stared at Yumi.

"Why are we going There." I asked. I had a feeling she wanted to go see her friend James, he was annother gifted kid. Yumi and James shared the gift of tellockicous.

"I can see it in your eyes you already know, but for Cody's sake I'll say it," she crossed her arms as to reject what she was about to say, "We need to get James, it's not safe for him there..." There was an akward silence in the car. In the slience I heard a small beeping noise.

"Stop and turn off the car." I said. The car took a long time to slow down and go to a stop. Cody turned off the car and we held our breath. Beep...Beep...Beep..."Yah hear that." I said looking around the car trying to find the annoying noise. The noise got louder as I moved my ear closer to Cody. "Cody take your shirt off." I watched his face turn a slight pink color and a very cocky grin appear.

"Why? Ya'll wanna see my abs?" His grin started to fade when he noticed how serious I was being. The truth is I did want to see his abs...it was a small secriet of mine, but this matter was needed to be checked. The beeping sound could be anything, a GPS tag, Bomb, my imagination, anything.

Taking his shirt off, I felt my cheekes light up. His abs were beautiful, so perfiect and fitting to him I couldnt stop my self from stairing until his shirt in my face got in the way.

"Here you go." The noise was right in my face, what was once a small annoying beeping had turned into panic and disstress as I searched helplessly around the collor, arms, and bottom rims of his green "earth awarrness" t-shirt. running my hand on the inside of it, I felt a very small and round mickanicle like device and pulled it off.

Holding up to eye level there was a small red light that blinked in time to the beep. Handing it over to Yumi she examined it too.

"It's a GPS traker made by Daniel." She said and I handed Cody his shirt back, sneeking annother peek at his ABS. "It must have gotten onto you when you tackeled him." Yumi said in a "matter of fact" tone. "This could be used against him though..." I could see the devlish gears working in Yumi's mind as she tought up a plan wile closly looking over the small device. "Yes," She finially said, "We will use this to our advantage." She handed it back to me and waved her hand in front of her, "Keep going." Crossing her arms again she leaned on the door and looked out the window, the devil grin still there.

I shook my head and put the tracker on the underside of the glove box were it would be safe from being broken. "No matter of arguing with her just keep going." using the same motion with my hand I waved at Cody. "Dude!" I staired at him, "Put your dang shirt back on!" I wiped the back of my hand over my head in fustration. Dang boys can be so annoying.

Cody quickly put his shirt back on and shot a smile in my direction before turning the car back on and drove.

I watched the little red dile go from 0 to 120 mph before I layed my head on the head rest and let the bumping car rock me to sleep.

In this dream nothing bad happened, at first. It was nice not having a "profit" like dream.

The medow I was standing in had tall grass that covered me up to my knees, my hair was pulled back in a tight poney tail and my one annoying bang-like curl waved by my eyes. I was wearing a very pretty summer like dress with pretty blue flowers on it with a white back ground, it lightly touched the tops of my knees.

I started to walk around and looked at all pretty flowers that peeked over the top of tall grass. I picked a Daisy and put it behind my ear while I walked I tought about how I could be asleep right now dreaming about this beautiful place when I was being hunted by crazy man, or should I say boy. I mean he is like a child-ish boy, all he wanted was an attack power, as far as I knew and it was very stupid that he would try to kidnap Yumi and I and any other gifted kid because he was jellous of our gifts.

"I'm not jellous." the voice behind me made me stop walking. Why is he here in my dream? This was a nice dream before he came.

I turned around and faced Daniel. Looking at him he seemed to be an almost kind man, light brown hair, muscular build, hazle eyes. He could make a great husbind if he tried. "What do you want then?" The air around us echo around us with my words, it was kind of fun and I supressed a giggle because my enimey was standing infront of me.

"I simply want you gone." He smiled and reached out his hand lightly moving my annoying curl from my eyes. I held my breath. "You see, ever sence you were born you've made my life a living hell." he started to pace around me. "I was doing just fine until you and your sister were born, living with my wife..." he winced as if remebering his wife made a bad memory come forward. "But where ever you and Yumi are it seems to follow with trubble."

"No, trubble follows with you" I said quickly, I was about to add another thing but Daniel talked before I could

"You seem to be led astray because where ever you are, I will be as well. Which is putting the lives of others in danger where ever you are...am I wrong?" He had stopped pacing and stood in front of me. All I could do was stare at him. It was true...where ever we went we put people's lives in danger, that lady at the hotel didnt need to see Yumi and I boil Daniel's hand. By us running out, we left her with the chance of dying when Daniel wanted to kill.

Daniel started talking again. "I can see you are turbbled by this, so I will leave you to your child games, but do remeber this if you remeber anything. I only seek power I wish to control army's of the gifted and use the gift's that should have been mine not some low-like girls." and with a sneer he was gone.

I fell to my knees in the medow and started to shake. Why did he make me so scared? I was stronger than he is but still he makes me feel like a defencless baby. My dream started to fade and I took a deep breath before it was gone, thinking about what he said. "but do remeber this if you remeber anything. I only seek power I wish to control army's of the gifted and use the gift's that should have been mine not some low-like girls."

I woke up  looking out the window of the car we where parked at a house, sitting up I looked for Cody or Yumi but they wernt around. I unbuckled my belt and opened the car door. Walking up to the dark wood door I tried to lightly knock on it, but it opened. walking inside I saw Yumi, Cody and James all sitting around in the living room chating.

"Well good morning sleepy head." Yumi said with a smile. I smiled back and just for a moment it seemed like we wernt running for our lives.
