Chapter 3

Ami

The total shock and fear that I felt in that moment was indecribable. Stepping a few steps backwards I half tripped on Yumi, because standing in our door way wasnt just Cody, it was also Daniel.

"Wha-How..." I couldn't finish my sentance. This was so un-real...Just annother stupid dream. No...Not a dream because Cody was standing there looking just as horrified as Yumi and I.

"Hello." He said with a smug grin on his face. His voice made my tummy do a flipflop, and I had to put my arms around my waist so it would stop. "So nice to see you girls, and hello Cody," He turned slightly and gave a half smile in Cody's direction before turning back to us. "It's been very hard to find you girls. You make it hard to track your moves when you erase eveyone's minds." He was refering to my third gift. First total control over water, second invisability, and third controling others minds, and they have yet to stop comming.

I sucked in a little air and suddnly wished I hadn't turned off the fauset. You see, unlike Yumi's gift were she can just poof out of the air some fire, I need some kind of water around. Think of it like that kid show "The Last Air Bender" or Avatar or whatever...Anyway it's kind of like that but more advanced and very, very real. I wanted to take a few more steps back, just enough to where I could run and turn on the fauset. My eyes must have flickered in that direction or something because Daniel was looking at the door to the bathroom.

"No," He siad, "That wont be nessary, because you see I'm smarter than that." he started to pull something out of his pocket, and I couldn't get my feet to move me. He couldn't get the object halfway out of his pocket before Cody had his hand in a very tight grip and another arm pushing him to the ground with such force I winced.

"Run girls hurry!" Cody said as he struggled to keep Daniel down. I still couldn't move, there was Cody risking his life for us to run and I couldn't freaking move my dang legs. I stared brillintly at them as they were wrestling in the door way of our hotel room.

I felt a warmth biside me and looked over to see Yumi glowing bright red. I turned around and headed for the bathroom door. Quickly turning on the fauset I did some flicking of my fingers and the water defyed gravite and went up the the palm of my hand. Oh water feels so good. I steped out just in time to see Daniel holding a ray gun he had created.

This ray gun knocked our gifts out compleatly for a temparry time, it was the worst feeling ever created in the history of time. This time my anger was so hot my feet moved like champions. First I thought to myself, get rid of the ray gun.

In a swift movemnt Yumi and I moved our arms at the same time, same idea and used our gifts to break the gun and burn his hand with boiling water.

"AHG." He yelled out in pain stagered back a few steps and bent over his boiled hand. It smelt tarrable, worse than rotten eggs. I was covering my nose trying to block the smell when Cody grabbed hold of mine and Yumi's arms and pratically dragged us out of the hotel room and down the hall.

"Wait we have to pay." I said ergently wile I reached for my walet in my back pocket.

"No time, whipe her memory of you and lets go!" Cody picked us up one in each arm and ran us past the front desk. I looked at the lady and felt very bad, I don't erase people mind to get free rooms. It felt wrong but I knew I had to. Looking strait into her eyes I saw the complexitie of her mind and replaced us with a new memory. Once it was done I looked over to the hall and saw Daniel running after us.

Yumi shot a fire ball at his gut while I got the rest of my water and smothered his face with it. We all got into the car and pulled away turning the car invisable so he couldn't find us. I looked at Cody as he drove, I was sitting in the pasnger seat and said, "When did you become so strong you could carry both Yumi and I at the same time with one arm each?" He looked at me with a cokey grin.

"What ya'll talkin' bout'? you two weigh barly over 90 LB each." I looked back at Yumi and she looked at me, we both started to burst out laughing. Not because what he said was funny, I think it was more because we had just gotten away for the most dangrous man alive and were making jokes at the same time. "I dont get it..." Cody said

"Oh don't worry." Yumi said from the back seat between laughing, "You wouldnt, its a twin thing." and with that we drove into the next chapter.
