is spearheaded by founder Yang Hyunsuk. While SM was responsible for growing the K-pop genre, YG hosts the K-pop artists who have found the most international fame.
Many of the names from YG are globally recognized, like , Big Bang, and 2NE1. Also under the YG label include Epik High, Akdong Musician, iKon, Winner, Lee Hi, and Blackpink. Collectively they make up "YG Family."
