Cuphead x Reader pt.3

(A/n: Hiya! Janis_The_Bunny here!~ I wanna say HOLY CRAP I'M SO SORRY FOR NOT UPDATING THIS FOR SO LONG! High school for me is biting my ass as I'm also having stuff happening outside of school. Anyways... I hope you all enjoy this third parter and this might be the last...)

Cuphead's P.O.V:

No matter how the hell hard I try to can't stop thinking of (Y/n)! I can't stand this anymore. I love (Y/n). But I can't begin to imagine us being together. I killed there best friend and she's dead... There's no way that it's gonna happen. Mugs and I just have to continue our journey with trying to kill Bendy and Boris. I sigh in a depressing way as I pace down the dirt road with Mugs tagging behind me. I feel a light tap on my shoulder and I turn around to see Mugs looking at me with a sad face on him. Damn it, he must be worried about me again....

"Cups? Are you-."

"I'm fine you little worthless shit," I say plainly as silence rains all over us. Mugs shuts his mouth shut for the rest of the walk. I sigh as I turn back to him, Mugs doesn't give me any eye contact as he at the same time tells me without words 'I'm listening'; "It's just.... I can't forget what I did to poor (Y/n)... Killing Janis right in front of her eyes. I can't stand her sadness in front of me."

"Cups, why don't you just say then your sorry?"

"It doesn't work like that. I KILLED her right in front of all of her friends. (Y/n) included." I stop myself as I feel my heart about to break into thousands of bits. Mugs looks into my eyes as I feel my eyes start to feel heavy. This drama is too much for my own good.

"... You've never felt like this before. Cups, do you love (Y/n)?" Mugs asks me. I flinch as I look back at Mugs. His eyes looking serious than what I'm used to.

"Yeah... but so what? She's never gonna notice me now. Not after I killed her best friend." I grunt to him as I kick dirt particles into the air. Mugs sighs as he opens his mouth.

"You still have the possible chance! Don't give up jut yet until she confirms to you that it's too late." Mugs tells me. I stop my tracks as Mugs stops himself with my sudden movement.

"I guess... that's possible... but what are the chances of seeing her again?"

"Right now?"

(Y/n)'s P.O.V:

I sigh sadly again as I have to keep extra look out on Bendy. His wings droop and barely moving. The halo floating above his head isn't glowing that bright luminous gold anymore. Honestly I think that there's sadly nothing in the world that can keep his mind off Janis. Who can blame him though? Janis was one of the nicest, kindest, and most thoughtful of all people I've ever met. Having Bendy having to witness his girlfriend die is just life changing for him. Bendy turns to me weakly with his blank eyes with sadness in every corner of his grey orbs.

"I'm such a mess... nothing to me matters (Y/n)..." he says in a depressed tone as more tears drop for his eyes and onto his elbow length white cloak. I stay silent until I see Penny join the both of us. She ties her long brown hair up into a bun as she makes it to us. She sees Bendy in tears again. She sighs and looks at me.

"Bendy is seriously not doing good."

"He's sensitive... also, I bet we call ALL relate to missing her and feeling depressed." Penny reasons with me. I stay silent as I look back at Bendy then at Penny.

"We just have to move on. No one said it was going to be easy!" I complain to my other best friend.

I out of my own ears hear Bendy growling at something in front of us. I turn my head to where Bendy is and I see. Of great, I see Cuphead and Mugman right in front of us. I look back at Bendy and I can tell he's hella pissed off. Tightening his fists as he glares at Cuphead. I can already tell in a snap why he's mad. I roll my eyes at Cuphead and I turn to Mugs. I give him a secret grin as I continue to make my disgusted face to Cups.

"Hey... (Y/n)..."

"What do YOU want from us? Gonna kill another one of us off!?" I snap at him. Hey can any of you blame me!? HE SHOT AND KILLED MY BEST FRIEND! And how am I going to just forgive him like that!? Cups huffs sadly as he slides his hands into the pockets of his trench coat.

"I didn't come to kill another one of you."

"Then what the hell did you come for!?" I question him impatiently. I cross my arms together as I tap my foot to the ground. This is wasting my time. WE NEED TO CONTINUE TRYING TO FIND THE PIECES! "Your precious times running out... so spit it out already or we'll all just leave you here stuck on your words."

"(Y/n)... I-I'm sorry I killed Janis... I didn't mean it!" Cups exclaims to me. With some truth in his words... I stop and I look at him. Should I really let Cups get the forgiveness so soon? He did just kill Janis.

"... Fine, I forgive you." I manage to choke out of my throat. I turn to Bendy who has a super shocked look to him. While for Penny she is just so lost for words. I can't believe myself for my own actions just now! I just forgive Cups after he's done something so tragic to EVERYONE including me. But... I bet Janis would want to give people who's done mistakes in the past a second chance. Everyone can change if you put heart into them, that's what Janis would say to us when we were down. I feel tears form in my (E/c) eyes.

"Great! I'm so glad you both can finally forgive each other!~" Mugs chimes happily seeing us finally getting along. I honestly feel some relief being put on my mind as I finally break a smile to Cups again. Cups smiles back to me as I suddenly move my hands into his. Bendy growls as he pushes us apart. He drags me away from Cups and Mugs as he separately pulls me away to talk.

"(Y/N)! ARE YOU NUTS!? DON'T YOU REMEMBER THAT HE KILLED JANIS!? HOW CAN YOU JUST FORGIVE HIM LIKE THAT!?" Bendy exclaims to me seriously and upset. I can see the tears form in his dead eyes again. I sigh as I place my hands on his shoulders. He looks at me with his tears leaking from his orbs.

"... I think everyone deserves a second chance... isn't that what Janis always thought? Some people deserve a second chance if they really regret something?" I ask Bendy. He wipes his tears away as I pull Bendy into a hug. He hugs me back as he weeps into my (F/c) shirt. Soaking the sleeve of it. I stroke his head as he hugs onto me more tightly. We pull away as I see him with a soft smile.

"(Y/n)... your just like Janis in so many ways..."

"Thanks Bendy... but I'm just hoping that you'll be alright with me forgiving Cups like that."

"I'll manage." Bendy chuckles to me softly as I grin at him. Bendy parts with me and he heads back to Penny, as I take my first step. I can feel something watch me so I turn back and I see nothing... probably just a feeling...

My P.O.V:

"Heh... I'm sorry I had to make you suffer so much... must have felt like hell." I say to (Y/n) softly as I tuck a strand of her (H/c) hair behind her ear. She smiles softly as I see her smile in her sleep. I turn to Bendy and Penny all sleeping in the same large tent. A old opening at the end, where I used to sleep. I miss those memories. With (Y/n), Bendy and Penny. All my friends. I'm so thankful I got to met and live with all of them for this long. I look up and out of the opening of this tent is the sun rising. I look at my hands as I see them fade along with my white long cloak. My time with all my friends is finally coming to an end. All this time I just watched my friends, making sure that they'd all be okay. I wish I could help out with everything that went wrong with them. But I'm nothing but a loose spirit now... the last glimpses of me are now fading as the bottom part of my body is gone. I reach for (Y/n)'s face one more time as I stroke my thumb across her cheek.

"Take care of everyone... especially Bendy for me." I close my eyes as I feel my remaining body going numb. The sun rise is here and I gaze down at everyone all together, "goodbye guys..."
