I had not remembered much about the three days that passed after that night I had waited for Edward, only that I did not come out of my room. My Bordello sisters came up the stairs to bring me bread and water each day, but as each day past I grew more and more upset.

I had slept a bit those days, it was all I really remembered. And at days I found myself resenting my quarters and my Bordello sisters. Seeing as I was not in the profession every man would find attractive enough to make a wife of.
So I rarely ever came to see them downstairs, and locked them away from me unless of course they were bringing me nourishment.

On the fourth night I awoke the the sweetest feeling of warmth in my ear. It tickled as someone spoke to it, asking me to "Arise beautiful maiden..." I began slowly waking up, my eyes fluttering open, directed at the open window next to me.

"Take my hand and let me show thyself where you belong..." He rubbed my back and shoulders, sitting at the edge of my bed on the other side of me.

I turned over slowly to face him, he was dressed in his usual wealthy looking clothing, shiny black shoes and white socks under his trousers and a beautiful gold colored jacket on top of a black button up shirt.

He smiled, as I held the white sheets close to my bare chest. I swore upon my dead mother I heard the most beautiful instruments in my head as I took his hand and got out of my warm bed and into the cold fall air. I quickly slipped on a beige satin lace kimono and ran with him outside to the forest, where we ran and laughed until we found solid ground and stood below tall skinny trees alike to hold eachother and dance.

The air bit at my legs and seeped its way through my cover up and onto my body underneath it. But his warmth made me forget all about it as I fell to the ground, exhausted.
My mouth filling with saliva as I felt him untie the satin belt that held my robe together, I closed my eyes and let the cold touch me stronger this time.

His warm rough hands ran up my body until each of his arms were on both sides of me, looking down at me, his face was silhouetted by the moonlight behind him. I looked up as he kissed me and my neck with that same beautiful passion I felt a few nights before. He felt like fire, and I, like ice.

I wanted to cry out, for I felt like I may have been suffocating from his love. But I fell in love with it myself. I wanted him to continue to show me such a love I'd never experienced.

Now I really knew, I loved him. There was no doubt in my young mind I was in love with this man who was almost a stranger to me. He was gentle, and he did not hurt me, he cared about my well being, he held me close to his heart.

Then he uttered words I longed to hear, even since that first night.
"I love you..." He said from above me, staring deep into my eyes, he stroked the side of my head, running his fingers through my red hair. And my heart beat quickly, I cried.

I cried and held his face in between my two hands, Though it was hard to keep, my perspiration from my palms made me slip. But I kept my best grip and kissed him. He closed his eyes with every kiss until I fell back down. When he finished, he laid on my chest, covering me, keeping me warm, and interlocking his hand with mine.

My tears quickly dried up and so did my eyes. I was overwhelmed with confusion and love. I never thought that something like this could happen to a girl like me. With a reputation like mine?

And how such a handsome man could love me?

He then sat up and dusted the leaves from himself and redressed himself along side me, slipping my robe back over my shoulders.

"Shall we go?"

"Go where?" I tucked a piece of my long lock of hair behind my ear.

"As I had mentioned before, Where you belong, with me. You will be happy with everything you could ever ask for, my love." He explained, with a peck on my cheek ever so lightly.

"What? But...my Bordello. What will my sisters say or do when they realize I am gone?" I stopped when he tried to pull me.

He took my face into the palms of both of his hands, caressing my cheeks ever so delicately. "My dear, they are strong like you. They will soon live a happier life wherever they may journey to. What path they choose now is hopefully a good one, and they will remember you as you will them."

My eyes filled with tears but I quickly wiped them away and rested my head on his.

"I love you. And we will be together now. I am sorry for the many moons I had left you alone. But you shall no longer live without me beside you..." He closed his eyes and slowly faced upwards to the black sky.

"We must go." He finished, opening his eyes once again and leading me, hand in hand a bit deeper into the woods until we reached a dirt road.

There was a carriage, a man in a top hat waiting with the carriage door open so we may enter. Once I had sat down in the velvet red seats inside the carriage, The door was closed behind me for a short while as Edward and the carriage driver spoke to eachother so quietly I couldn't hear them.

I looked out the window of my side for a moment to peer at the town that was miles away now I had parted from not long ago. I thought about my Bordello sisters, and how I wondered if they would shed a tear for me. I wondered if they would come looking for me and die trying. All these sad thoughts crossed my mind and filled themselves with even more terrible ideas.

But I had remembered what Edward said to me, and how they would find their own path, and live happier without me. I turned my attention back to the other window just in time to see Edward hand the moustached driver a large amount of cash and a handshake along with it.

But as Edward seemed about to make his way back to the carriage, the man quickly stopped him and handed the money right back to him in the pocket of his coat. He gave Edward a slight pat on the shoulder and tipped his hat then shooed him away.

Edward quickly nodded and walked back to the carriage and hopped in right next to me. I looked up to see the driver of the buggy smiling under his greying moustache and with a white gloved hand tipped his hat to me as well politely.

I was confused, but I smiled back. And when I looked to Edward, he had his head in his hands thumping his leg rapidly up and down. I did not bother to ask the matter, but instead I looked back out my window as the carriage began to move with the sound of a slight whipcrack.
